Not sure if anyone has ever noticed or brought it up, but at 1:54 in Basshunter's DOTA video, there's a guy playing FFXI.
Basshunter is pretty well known, even if people don't know his name I'm sure everyone's heard some of his songs and DOTA is one of the most famous ones.
Pretty cool I thought.

Not seeing it. All I see is what appears to be 2 instances of WoW, unless FFXI suddenly got a minimap that I don't know about.

It's just your brain making you see XI because you want to see XI. This video isn't exactly high quality (240p...really?) but it's just Warcraft 3 DotA.
That's not Final Fantasy XI.

I see the screen in question, I believe and it very well could be XI but you can barely see the screen for the guys head in the way plus low quality and it's pretty much just running down a narrow pathway if it is even XI (I don't remember anywhere in WoW with the color palette used but it does look very XI) it is also a bit beyond the mark you say

risurisu : I thought so too, until I noticed the hand holding the knife. Most definitely not FFXI, as the weapon in the frame means it's a first-person view. As FFXI doesn't have weapons showing in first person view, pretty much rules it out.
I can see why this is confusing a little bit.
The first screen shows a player with UI adjustments to his WoW client, making a similar UI to FFXI. You can tell this is not FFXI due to the minimap in the top right corner of the UI, and the party screen on the left of the screen.
The game in the second instance, for risurisu and Calessa, is Counter Strike : Source, on a map known as CSDUST/de_dust
