Used Novennial Ring - Keep or Drop?Follow
I'm trying to clean out my Mog House at the moment and I've still got my Novennial Ring kicking about with no charges on it. Is there any conceivable reason to hold onto this? It won't be needed for some future event somewhere?

Yeah, toss it. All the anniversary rings were one-time-only, and SE wouldn't introduce an event in the future that required it without also giving us some way to get the item again.
I'd keep it for the sake of having it but I'm a packrat.

See I'm normally the same, I have single roses kept in my MH that I got back when I used to roleplay extensively in Vana'diel, but as lately I'm actually playing the game as opposed to just hanging out with the people, I've tried to be a bit more frugal with my storage space, especially since I've now taken up Dancer in addition to Scholar, so I'm storing gear for that as well as the NIN and WAR subjobs. So things like the fully used Novennial Ring, which under normal circumstances I'd have kept, are getting dumped if they have no practical reason to be there other than nostalgia.

Don't sweat it. Exp bonus rings don't affect Abyssea exp or the exp from the actual GoV page completion. They used to be a much bigger deal in the past. But these days? Not so much.
I pop them rings when doing things out side of Abys. Extra exp is extra exp.
They're still incredible when working on AF2+2 trials in dynamis.

But the important point here was that once they're used, they're used, no point holding onto them ^^ Just looked up AF2+2 trials, can see why they'd be useful there.
