What are some things/ideas you would like to see patched in?Follow

I like the following ideas:
Linkshell House - STO has done a FLeet HQ which you can build up and develop and even do missions etc together.

I like the idea of being able to get rewards together to build up a Linkshell fortress/House, which you could even use as a quest mission once a week - 6/12/18+ people have to defend it.
Similar to campaign but its your Linkshells customised fortress, again you could earn items which boost the fortress? I understand this would be a massive undertaking on SEs part to do it right and make it feel like new content not just a copy and paste from Campaign. The boost items could be simple stat boosts for all players, on the fortress, NPCs helping. When campaign came out it was fantastic, only real reason why its not heavily used now is EXP/Cru from Abyssea is what most people prefer. SE though had made massive changes though to improve.

Maybe even allow notes to be the points in boosting your fortress? (because I dont like the idea of yet another currency/point build system).

Tavnasia, I still think they are lacking this very original story area - allow us to visit the ruins which were destroyed in the great war. I miss beating up a bunch of orcs, maybe have simple rewards and again like Abyssea doesnt require a full alli or even a "certain" type of party. Not too sure but I like the idea of being able to visit the ruins, maybe even expand on the new tavnasia after all this time the place hasnt changed much ;)

Linkshell modifications
Some people like a few I know dont want to scrap the current LS for any old members to easily get back on but he leader has gone and wont return. Make it possible to vote a new leader of 75% of those recently on in the last month or so? or only for the LS's that the leader has been inactive for 1 month? 2 months?
Like XIV you can see a whole list etc
- I am guessing this is a huge task

Mog House
I think this is something they are doing? the ability to have 1 Mog house and not multiple in different cities. I just want to have 1 home and that I am able to access it etc I did have a bed and everything but gave up because I rarely visit the home city.

Trial List on the Menu
I know we have the ability to check with a fancy book but I do prefer a menu which shows:
Whole list of Trials and what they are.
The list of what you are currently doing and what is required.
Personally I see this one being the quick and easy one to setup, just requires some poor soul to sit there and do it. Although we can check Wiki etc I prefer this info to be there (its not like something you have to work out for your self).

Perhaps the same done for AF3 stuff (the moogle again tells us what we need so its not like its telling us cheats). Maybe even the ability to give the seals/+2 items and when you collected 10+ you can choose to spend 6/9 etc on a piece of gear. Saving me carrying 10 slots worth of +2s. Similar to the old Sea style where you simply collect the ancient coins, trade them to NPC and he stores them till you want to spend.

Obviously the ones I have added are my opinions, by all means do what you guys do best tear it apart or like it ;)

I used to harp on this to no end, but WotG and it's "who gives a frick about Lillith; let's go fix the wrongs of Tavnazia already!" storyline just crushed that last kernel of my soul on this one. Nobody that works on this game has ever seen the opening video for the game; I'm dead certain of this.

There's always this one problem with an MMO, and it's a problem I dislike but there's absolutely no way around it bar turning it into single player which absolutely defeats the point.
Changing something to reflect your progress will obviously alter other players world even though they may or may not have gotten to the same point in the narrative.
Short of implementing "unique" world quests where only one person can finish it and thus altering the world is no problem, it just isn't feasible bar using the FFXIV style of "instanced" worlds but with such a huge storyline involving the entire of vandiel the entire world would be instanced and again we're back to "single player" mode.
The idea of unique world quests could be interesting, for the player or group completing it but would absolutely **** off everyone else cause they can't get a bit of the story themselves.
So Tavnazia, will they do anything? They just can't I'm afraid, just like Abyssea Prishe will forever be stuck in Empyreal Paradox, Abyssea will never actually recover, Aht Urgan will always be under siege etc, etc, etc...
So depressing, yet... So neccessary...

This would actually require a major change in how weather/zones are programmed, as you'll end up with the weather effect continuing to display when walking "indoors" into a house in a zone. You can actually see what that would look like now, if you watch a Chocobo race with rainy weather, and then return to the Chocobo Racing Circuit -- it continues to "rain" while you're walking around indoors.

Horrible reasoning. There are plenty of caves that would prove you wrong.

Usable furniture.

I want a bed you can sit/lay on. Make the Leisure Table usable in a player's Mog House. Let us pose our mannequin without having to travel to Mhaura. Give us the ability to tap on the glass of our aquariums and watch the fish react.

You know thats one of the two reasons why I brought it up. The other being the 1st time I ever stood there looking in the background and seeing the original tavnasia. I was like "oooooooooooooo I know that place!!". I actually remember asking the question in the LS "Can we go there?" some one said yes but you need 500mil gil........ I thought he was telling the truth.

I've always felt that Gungnir's and Mjollnir's Aftermaths should be switched to better fit the myths behind them. Mjollnir belonged to Thor, who was the Norse god of thunder, thus Shock Spikes seems more fitting, and Gungnir, the spear of Odin, was said to never miss its mark in battle, thus the Accuracy Boost would also seem appropriate.

If we're going with myths, then an argument could be made that Mjollnir should increase Curing Potency because Thor was also the Norse God of Healing.

Mage-oriented relics should have just been given a spell instead of a WS i.e. using Mjollnir gives access to the spell "Arise"

I forgot to add that: Ability to change race, not often but I certainly would change mine from male hume to Mithra!.

Maybe once a year? hell even if it was a one off. I wish I could change my char to a mithra, like what I have done in XIV - I just went mithra (too hot to handle, too cold to hold).

I will add, without starting the flame wars - where are all those who said the game was dead due to no decent content etc. Why are they not here right now telling SE how to "Fix" the game or give better content?

Found better things to do with their lives, and now only show up to make snarky commentary that is still easy to agree with.
