Yes Please. Weather in the cities- Snow in San d'Oria, Rain/Lightning in Bastok and/or Windurst. Maybe a mix of all 3 in Jueno/Whitegate. Also maybe in the starter zones (Ronfaure, Sarutabaruta, Gustaberg) just to even it out as well. I think it would be great! Snow in front of the catherdral, rain around Heavens Tower, Lightning in Port bastok, it would really add something to these zones. (Of course Rabao is one of the few towns that already has weather in it).

This would be cool. There is an in-game calender, so we do have "months". Would be neat to have weather at certain times of the week to match what season the game's calender is in.

Weather in zones where it does actually happen matches the in-game calendar. You'll see snow in Batalia Downs in December, and you're far more likely to get "hot" weather in Valkurm in July. That bit of trivia helps out a lot when planning for TotM or even just the SMN quest.

SE said keeping BST pets while zoning is impossible because the planets aren't in alignment, or something.

Yea they keep saying this, but as a DRG I don't have to re-summon my baby, and I've seen Avatars load before the SMN does in zones. SE just doesn't want to chnge a few 0s and 1s :p
But thus that is why I made the 2nd suggestion. Just reclaim the pet as a jug. Even if it has a timer for the time that jug pet has left before it would vanish/wear.

I believe it's a matter of the varying levels that was the issue if I recall. With Avatars and Automatons, their levels are static: if the Summoner is 75, then the Avatar is 75, etc. With a Dragoon's wyvern, while they do "level up", it's independent of the Dragoon, it functions a bit differently than a normal level up, and even then, it has the static starting point. With jug pets though, the level that they're called at varies, and that'd be a bit problematic when the pet respawns during a zone change due to the pet's level being dynamic as it is.

I do agree though that it'd be nice for them to just be able to call the pets back to a jug.

but I'll bite anyway... all of the stuff BSTs have been requesting. No sideways shenanigans disguised as "Look what we gave you instead." No, I'm not going to elaborate. It's all in the history of these forums.

Ivalice races/moogles, seriously they need more love, and hell the story would be easy enough for them to appear in van, just have them book them selfs over hehe, but then again that would be a lot of work for the devs I suppose :/

The last thing I think anyone wants is another alternate dimension, which is where Ivalice would exist in relation to Vana'diel. There are well over half a dozen different alternate/parallel dimensions that exist in Final Fantasy XI and, while Dissidia does have all the different Final Fantasy worlds connected, it'd still be really hard to come up with a storyline involving races from Ivalice somehow appearing in Vana'diel and people accept it without issue. That'd be especially true if it required stomaching another alternate dimension.

Remove the Miasma from AC. It was never fun or challenging or anything of substance. We've paid our dues, enough with the blocked pathways.

Don't think it's been mentioned yet. Let me recast Sneak over the top of Sneak! Number of times I've cast Sneak or used Spectral Jig and Sneak is wearing and had it not work...

That's actually an intentional nerf from around 2004-2005 or so.

It's from the same patch as the melee RNG nerf, iirc.

Those would be nice, but even more so I'd like if my jug were still up if I got d/c (or logged out). I really hate it when some internet/computer burp causes me to lose my familiar'd jug, particularly if it was expensive and I had used it for less than 10 min. (once it was like 2 min. I had to wait for call beast when I logged back on ><) doesn't happen too often, probably like 1-2 times per month, but its really annoying.

Maybe also a quick-and-dirty actual stats window, beyond the equipment menu. I know we all like to play MathFantasyXI, but the barrier to entry is kinda high for people who aren't mathematically inclined, and giving an actual number for, say, storeTP or haste or things like that wouldn't harm anything.

They could replace that elemental resistance area, which has basically never been relevant to players outside a copule of HNM fights and is hopelessly confusing to newbies.

When we die during a D/C with reraise up, it would be nice to have the popup box to reraise when you log back on. Has happened a few times in Dyna (always when I pull too many) and I D/C only to come back dead with no RR up =/

I don't think that's actually possible, sadly :/ I feel your pain on that one.

That's kind of why it's in this thread, we _want_ it to be possible! I've had the same thing happen to me on occasion, it gets old fast. They can keep visitrant status active through death and disconnect, why not Reraise as well?

You're right. One's a buff status effect that wears off after a set time, and the other is... hey, wait a second!

This would actually require a major change in how weather/zones are programmed, as you'll end up with the weather effect continuing to display when walking "indoors" into a house in a zone. You can actually see what that would look like now, if you watch a Chocobo race with rainy weather, and then return to the Chocobo Racing Circuit -- it continues to "rain" while you're walking around indoors.

Well, there could be an argument there - after you're dead, the Reraise status itself has in fact worn off, it's just the dialog that's left. But from a backend perspective, simply keeping a flag against a PC that says they have a "Reraise Option" available which is checked whenever you zone (to accommodate the disconnect scenario, with the added benefit of working with Tractor) or die wouldn't be too hard I suspect.

I would like the stairs in sky fixed, and possibly make it into an event of gather materials and have each server unlock it.
