Reactivting a content ID on the 1st of the monthFollow

In 4 hours it will be April 1st but I know that SE doesn't withdraw charges until after the first of the month.

If I were to reactivate my account at midnight, would SE still charge me for March?

Also, since its already April 1st in Japan, could I have activated my account on March 31st without being charged?

I'm asking because I once bought an extra content ID at the first of a month but SE still charged it for the previous month and the current. I assumed it was just a mistake but I didn't bother to correct them since it was only a dollar.

I do know that SE doesn't make charges until 1-4 days AFTER that month has ended, so I would hate for that to happen again since this time it would cost me $15.

Whoa whoa wait, I was planning on reactivating tonight at midnight, and not only can I not do that, I'll STILL get charged for last month? My friend said that it was a 30 days deal, but I was certain that it was the first of the month.

Just wait until the 2nd. Or, more likely, the 3rd. Unless, of course, 2 days of play is worth $13.99+ to you.

I can attest to the fact that you do in deed get charged for the previous month if you reactivate before the 2nd or 3rd of the month. It has happened to me a few times in the past. ~_~

ffs it is down until the 2nd? For some reason my content id is saying it is cancled. Now I can't get on for 2 days -.-

Presumably you've suffered from the usual renewal glitch, they seem pretty common, usually it's a CC charge that failed for some reason (often not a valid reason) and so the IDs on the account automatically get 'canceled' until you reactivate them and the system tries the charge again; there's no automatic retry from their systems.

I have never understood SE's asinine policy of taking down the registration servers at precisely that time in the month when CC problems are predictably going to happen, meaning players affected are bound to have to wait to fix what is often SE's error in the first place.

i'm having that same problem it looks like but it says i have no content id and need to reactivate but when i try it says it is currently being billed it's pretty irritating

I just got billed for my server change but not for my content ID -.-. SE needs to get their crap together, jeez.

i agree, but take in mind a great majority of players will never complain to a level to make SE understand they are actually getting away with a ripoff to the consumers (even if the excuse is it's part of the agreement)

SE is just stealing money openly, if you are charged a full month for reactivating the last day of that month dont tell me it's not a ripoff, but as long as fans like the game enough to allow this kind of abuse they will get away with it, sadly xD
