And SE said it was me having troubles the past few days with this error. Blamed my isp. Isp blamed my router. Went and bought a new router and SE admits its them. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!.

In before ffxi is dying

So much for Limbus. Do they have an estimation about when they might have the login server back up?

In spirit of all the FFXI is dieing that is going around...

As soon as they can replace the FFXI servers with FFXIV servers.

I hope it's not another attack like a few years ago.If Google's attack showed me anything they can overrun multiple company servers with no fear of getting a slap on the wrist.

What happend is that SE needed to change its credit card info with the power company, and found out that their credit card is not VBV. So now they are trying to find a credit card that is VBV.

Heh, what timing. My LS had just spawned Kirin when we got the message. Part way through, they start mentioning they're kicking everyone off, so we had to rush to grind Kirin down. Killed it literally less than thirty seconds before we got booted. Kirin's Pole, Shining Cloth, Orichalcum Ingot, and of course, three Wind Crystals. Again.

They didn't announce that FFXI would be unavailable for play during the maintenance until 15 minutes prior to it beginning. There have been numerous instances of POL maintenance in the past that didn't include downtime.

OR the world crash means that it instead erased your efforts towards your first one.
Sadly, with the way things sometimes go in this game, I'd consider that to be at least twice as likely (and maybe a ~2% chance your blu is back to level 1 and/or all your items and missions erased). XD

Maybe that's just my luck, though. :P
