Apparantly SE has decided that RNG needs nothing, so this is RNG's "job adjustment"

Spartan bullets are much cheaper to make than silver bullets so I don't see why you'd need to worry about expending them.
Not to mention the proc rate on high level mobs is very low, which is why nobody uses them. They hardly proc on anything you need to stun.

Basically when SE unveiled our "update" the ranger community called it a crap sandwich, BUT, we noticed a tasty slice of cheese in it called enmity reduction for ranged attacks. We were happy with that. it meant we had a chance to maybe get back into many of the events we're not welcome in anymore because of our tendency to pull hate. then, at the last second, right before we actually have to EAT this crap sandwich, SE yanks out the cheese. Check most of the ranger forums. You'll find the general response to this update is "@#$% you SE!"

My prediction for the next update.
Recently it has come to our attention that Rangers are only used for certain specific endgame activities. Because of this we have implemented the following changes in order to correct this situation.
The following Notorious Monsters now have increased resistance to piercing damage.

Thats's the only instance in the game where it is a great help.
Less dead pixies. Pop Unlimited Shot and keep throwing Stygian Ash until either you hit, or Dark Ixion runs away.
Other then that it's indeed pretty much useless.

Because it would make their job the most updated job in the game.
Well ****, by that "logic" (and I use the term oh so very loosely), SAM is the least updated job in the game and the most desperately in need of an update!
COR/RNGs and COR/WARs are /angry, too. I actually had high hopes for Ranged Attack reduced enmity generation, because I already pull too much hate and have found myself dead a few times. No, the PLD didn't suck, for those who don't play COR, our rolls generate lots of hate, combine that with spamming bullets at a mob when the other people are whiffing during the middle levels and you end up with a dead COR/RNG.
