Not a complaint, just a question.Follow

Ive been out of FFXI for about a year now, and recently started feeling nostalgic. So I went out last night and bought a new copy of the game, and today I tried to sign up for my new account. It's telling me that the servers are down until monday. Is this for real? I mean, obviously it is, but I haven't seen anyone complaining yet about this info, so...what's the deal?
