Got mine too. Skeleton +Ghost costumes, just run under the decoration. try different ones. I got mine from the South sandy one to the east of the map

My theory: equip the NQ and get two different types of beastmen.

Maybe for +1 you just have to do the same in a different city, much like the swimsuits.

My partner and I are on the airship now to test the different cities theory. Wish us luck. :)
Just tried the Skeleton + Ghost combo with all three balloons of Windy Woods (the zone with the moogles) and nothing. There is no fourth balloon, and we both ran around and stood under every balloon for a bit.
I'm 8/8, my partner is 7/8. I'm not sure if that's relevant though.

Could you guys be a little more specific as to what you mean by "dog+shade" and "skeleton+ghost while running under decoration"?
I think it is fantastic that people are figuring stuff like this out, but for me -- this is all Greek. Am I trading cookies/sweets/etc to a skeleton then a ghost and then running under a decoration and all of a sudden a pitchfork pops into my inventory? Obviously, that can't be the case. So what is it? Do I trade to an NPC that turns me into a skeleton, then deactivate that costume and trade to another NPC that turns me into a ghost and then I run under a decoration and POP I now have a pitchfork?
You see my issue? I just don't understand what you guys are trying to explain. If obtaining the pitchfork is similar to the other event items, you trade sweets to the NPCs and hopefully get the item. If it is not, please be more specific as to what it takes to get this new event item.
BTW: looks good on ya, Eanae. That red with the white PLD gear is very nice.

One person in a party dresses up as a ghost, the other dresses up as a skeleton, and they run under the decorations. Think you may have to hit all of them, as its random which decoration gives you the item.
I'm also starting to think the costume combinations are zone dependant.
S.Sandy is Skeleton + Ghost costumes.

You have to be one, someone else has to be another.
And yes, it does just pop into your inventory.
It seems to be area specific. Example - The combo for Windy Woods is Ghost + Shade, and has been confirmed to work at two of the three balloons at least.
• Bastok Markets is Dog + Ghost.
• Bastok Mines is Shade + Skeleton.
• Windurst Woods is Shade + Ghost.
• Windurst Waters is Dog + Shade.
• San d'Oria South is Ghost + Skeleton.
• San d'Oria North is Dog + Skeleton.
Perhaps the HQ Pitchfork involves combinations of beastmen costumes.

For you windurst woods ppl, Nhobi Zalkia at G-8 gives shade and Taraihi-Perunhi at K-10 gives ghost.

That links good, but still doesnt explain HQ ;)
one zone from each city does not work for the pitchfork+1
Maybe you need a combination of more than 2 costumes to get the HQ version? Say a party of 3 or 4 (or 6, who knows), all with different costumes. *shrug*

I double confirm that teh 3 city method doesnt work.
Anyone have any idea how to get the +1 version?
