Trick or Treat Event HelpFollow

There are many RUMORS saying that you can only recieve an item once per day this is flase i recieved pumpkin head II and tick staff II both on the same day and both where traded ginger cookies. If anyone finds out the REAL way to work it this year im sure everyone would greatly appricate it as of now it is just a waste of gil trying to get lucky. The equipment theory i do not know if it is false or not so if true please explain. From what i got from my ls everyone on LS:

>>I was wearing nothing i got Trick Staff II, then while wearing it got Pumpkin head

>>Someone else got the same but in opposite way head>>staff.(These where both after getting a costume and cancleing it.)

>>Then a third person got Horror Head II wearing normal armor and also after getting a costume.

After that SE got to work on maintence. If anyone does have and hints or clues on how to figure it out please post instead of us all wasting our gil :P.

i did look at the ones on this page half of them say it has to do with game days (which is false). Some are just random things that people said they did to get there's. And the equipment page i have read are false cause i was wearing halloween gear when i got my pumpkin head.

Despite other posters' false information, it is still best to reply to a thread related to the event rather than create a whole new one. That being said, did you get your two items from two different NPC's, or did you get them from the same one?

As for tips, if you want an NQ item, don't wear any Halloween items in the slot of the item you want. For example, if you want a Pumpkin Head, don't wear a Pumpkin Head II.

If you want an HQ item, wear that item's NQ version. For example, if you want a Horror Head II, wear a Pumpkin Head II.

At least...this is how it worked last year.
