As far as requests, a more feminine set of DRK AF. :p I used to hate clunking around in that stuff!

I'm new to the dat modding. First one i did was change the mithra sit back to the old one just cause it looks cooler. Now, i'm looking through the model viewer for dat numbers, and i ran across all the ones from CoP. How do i find those? I know the #-##-### means ROM#-FOLDER#-DAT###, however i see the ones from CoP are 100-##-###. I can't seem to find a ROM100 folder x.x So my question is, where do i find the dat files for the 100's? Also, I noticed you can't view the CoP models in the viewer either. Is there some kind of update or fix for this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Also, -.- would anyone mind uploading the .dat for the default MITHRA "claymore" GS model x.x I was testing this new dat and i made a backup but for some reason it didnt want to paste and save.

Gokage: I'm pretty sure that the CoP models are in ROM3. And any and all updates are on the Model Viewer main page:

Oh, and as to the claymore, have you tried using the Model Viewer option that restores an auto backup? It's the second option under File. (I really ought to manually back up my files, but I keep forgetting because that option is just so convienent. /slap self)

*Update*

A piece of Head Armor modeled in an attempt to make the DRK armor look more feminine. This one is EV female only...sorry, no way around it with my editing skills. ; ;

(A cookie to anyone who can guess what model I edited.)

Edit: Forgot to say- all updates are in top post.^^

Nice headpeice. Oh and btw, OP, I really do like your work. It's quality stuff (except that green thing...) and I'll give you credit for those that I may use for specific screenies I take.

I just think that the people asking why you don't work for SE are out of their minds ^_^

I have this feeling you use a windower to play on PC, that would be why your screen is set so bright?

Most of the "washed-out" look of the original avatars could be reduced by darkening up your own screen or the pictures you have (personally, the avatars as seen on my PS2 before it broke wern't washed-out in the slightest.

Aside from that, the new .dat files your making are beautiful, please keep making them ^.^. Carbuncle is my favorite ^.^

Really great work! The avatars and lizard armor are my favorite. The other stuff probably doesn't fit the game except for the lace dress. It's all really good though.

    Heh yeah I was thinking my comment about them looking 'whorish' wouldn't go well, but that's what I thought when I saw them ... it IS just how I see things like that however, I can see how others would see them as more sexy than anything.

    I feel like expanding my commentary though :)

    Like I said before, I love the avatars and I adore the black lace dress :) I almost want it for my Elipsis!

    Off-the-shoulder-gi I dont like at all :( (like the Mithra bellyshirt, I immediately thought '*****!' when I saw it >.>;;) Just the look, the work on it is still stellar, like the rest.

    The Rydia outfit is coming along really nicely. I <3 it a lot :D Can't wait to see it when it's completed!

    Mithran Bellyshirt: me no likey, but would likey if there was some solid material between the breasts. I was never a fan of the triangles ^^;;

    The lizard armour is stellar, and I wish I had that style in the game rather than the ugly one they REALLY have :(

    The Elvaan Female DRK chain headpiece is really pretty, I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of it :)

    I hope you keep updating this thread with more! :D

    First of all AMAZING job on these, Ive just started playing around with dats myself and the most ive done so far is some swapping, and a little recoloring (made my scorp harness black). But not actual textures these are awesome.

    he next thing I want to make is some kind of lace body stocking to replace my Mithra's regular underwear, so I guess I'm continuing the trend.^^ (Though with luck, I can make it look a little more feminine.)

    What underwear? >.>; there is none

    *Update*

    After playing around with the DRK veil, I found out that it clips nastily with several head models (#3, 4, and 5) and if I adjust that, then it looks really bad. ; ;

    So, in an effort to have headgear for all of the heads, I made some demon horns.^^ They're still matte black due to the amount of time put into the model, but hopefully that'll be chaged shortly.

    Elvaan, can't help you. It exists for Humes though.

    Can be found as part of a huge .dat collection posted over on the ffxionline boards by Rones and Devifoxx. I posted a link a few days ago.

    File is here: http://www.devimension.com/devi_data/ffxidatcollection.rar

    Preview of the mod taken from the collection is here: http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/uf/Crimanosuke/Mithra_s_Starting_Gear.jpg
