Thank You for saying what needs to be said. I would like to add that people play a class for a reason, because they enjoy the class. If you do not enjoy the class you will not enjoy the game.

4) My job is one of the most powerful and essential of any class. I make the enemy suffer, while making the melees attack faster and the mages have more MP to cast with. I support the party in ways other classes can only dream of. I'm the jack-of-all-trades, master of many. I am a red mage.
A jack-of-all-trades is technically a master of none.

Dr. Obvious... :D i guess that he meant purpousefully that apparent contradiction: while RDMs are jacks-of-all-trades, they manage to be master of many.

This post is the opposite reason why I stopped playing this game a year ago...

i must say that this was 1 of the best threads iv read, all of the things you said were pritty much true, you coulda made the DRK 1 sound a little bit different, but what am i to say i wouldnt know what to put there instead if you paid me......

My job BLU is the best because I can use any job as a subjob therefore = the best =P, and using DS when using Magic Fruit = my cure V =D
Mostly because it's the strongest physically, mage job out there, and it's very flexible and fun to play because we're almost on par with RDM's debuffs, cept we don't have a paralyze debuff that doesn't take 100+ mp to cast <_<. Also the solo ability is pretty good when going blu/whm/rdm. Also because the story is so..painful and regarded as giving your "life" to the empire. Sure Immortals still have HP for some reason..but eh.

I've hunted this power, embraced it, and mastered it. Tremble with fear, monsters, for I will steal your own abilities and use them against you. Depending on the spells and support job I choose to use, I can tank and absorb hits, deal pretty good damage, or be an efficient healer and support role. I am a fighter and also a mage, the only truly multiclass job there is, and I excel at both. I am a blue mage.

I'll take a shot at this, although I am sleep-deprived at the moment.
*I am but one, but I am not easily done away with. I appear to be only one, but I am protected by many. I am not a magician, but I control the elements. I am not a fighter, but I am respected in battle. I am not an entertainer, but I make those around me perform better. I am from this world, but not of this world. I am a Summoner.
*I am an entertainer, first and foremost. I make my partner dance, act, and perform for crowds far and wide. I am also a fighter for what I believe in. I arm my partner with the best parts that can be found in this world. I arm myself as well to face any threats to my profession, my reason for living. Seperately, we are adequate fighters. Together, we defeat foes that leave others lying on the ground or keeping their distance altogether. I am a Puppetmaster.
*I travel the world in search of new weapons for my ******* of magic. I study the behaviors of various monsters and machines and use them as my own, gaining strength and power as I progress. Whether alone or with others, I cannot stop until I've learned all there is to know. I am of flesh and blood, but I am an empty vessel to be filled only with the knowledge of others. I am a Blue Mage.
