Some of you may have seen my previous post on this subject matter. I thought it was a good idea to repost in a bit better of a format. I will list the quests involved then in the main paragraph, what order to do them in.

Here are the quests

Mandragora Mad
Truth, Justice and The Onion Way
Making Amends
Something Fishy
Know One's Onions
Chocobilious
Teacher's Pet
Making The Grade

Bastok needs to be in First or second if this is the case go buy 40 Cornettes from the Music shop in Bastok Markets. Logout and start a new character in Windurst, preferably a Galka WAR(easier to get bud, kill more mandies in less time). Go back to your original character and start sending the Conettes to your new character. It will take you about 15 minutes or so to send them all. Then go straight to Yoran Oran in Windurst Walls and do the Mandragora Mad quest 30 times(reward 200 gil per). Take the money from that and go to Wind Walls AH and buy the following

1 Rarab tail 100
4 Wild Onions 1600 for 4
1 Bastore Sardine 100
1 Bird Feather 100
1 Block of Animal Glue 400
1 Papaka Grass 100
1 Test Answers 5000 (wait to buy, you'll see)

Go to Port Windurst behind the warehouse (G-5) and do Truth, Justice and The Onion Way with the Rarab tail (reward Justice Badge). Then go to the Orastery (E-7) and do Making Amends with the Block of Animal Glue (reward 1500 gil). Next goto the docks and do Something Fishy with the Bastore Sardine (reward 70 gil). Next zone into Wind Waters then right back into Port. Go back behind the warehouses and start the Know One's Onions quest, you dont need to complete the quest just start it and give him the 4 Wild Onions for your reward, (reward Scroll:Blaze Spikes). Next go to Wind Woods and stop by your Mog House and pick up the other 10 Cornettes you didnt have room for. While in Woods goto choco stable and do Chocobilious with the Papaka Grass. Next head into East Sarutabaruta, go right towards cliff and kill Tiny Mandies until you you get a 2 Leaf Mandragora Bud. Once you get it go back into Windy and head to Wind Walls. Goto Yoran Oran again and do Mandragora Mad the last ten times getting rid of all your Cornettes. Head to the Walls AH and buy Test Answers (5k on my server)
then head to Wind Waters. Go to the Aurastary (L-6) and talk to MorenoToeno and do the Teacher's Pet quest with the 2 Leaf bud and the Bird Feather (reward 250 gil). Turn around and talk to Fuepepe, the wonderful thing he should say to you is that he needs your help. This is what it was all for. Of course you accept and do the Making The Grade quest with the Test Answers (reward Scroll:Aspir). Well thats it! brand new character lvl 1 with Aspir 45-50k on my server it takes me about an hour and 15 minutes which ain't bad for 50k.

40 Cornettes no bastok fame 40*253= 10120 thats what you need to start.

after badge, scroll of spikes and aspir sell you will have
made around 40-46k at the minimum.

you make up the loss in cornettes and test answers with the 1500 reward quests * 2. It works out in the end trust me.

I did this 3 times in one night and cleared 150k.. I have done it total about 8 times clearing around 300k in less than 3 nights of playing about 2-3hours a night. Not bad for a few hours of running around. And I didnt have to pray to the drop GOD that Jaggedy-Eared Jack-*** would crap out a Rabbit Charm either.

Hope this helps you lazy people who don't wanna find your own way :-)

Delete character, rinse, repeat.. :-)

I know Albergo will hate this but oh well :-)

I'm going to farm some test answers and jack up the price now. KKTHXBYE.

Not a bad idea, though I imagine after a while I'd be incredibly bored.

Exploitive??

They allow me to make as many characters as I want! Maybe a different word would be better :-)

preferably a Galka WAR(more on that later).

I didn't catch the later, but I assume you mean chose a Galka war for an easier time farming the two-leaf mandy bud from the tiny-mandys. Or is there another reason?

Thanks for making this post... I for one found it useful last weekend (reading the same post that you made earlier on this topic). I've had a Galka mule in Windy the whole time who I use for crafting and selling stuff at the AH, so I decided to spend a couple hours building up my Windy fame and getting Aspir. I like that not only did you list the quests, but you seem to have listed the fastest possible way of completing them. Spending 1, even 2 hours to get an Aspir scroll is worth it in my book... too bad I can't delete my mule and do it again since I've built up crafting skills on it!

Well I am glad to see that it actually helped someone, Thank You for telling me. Don't forget you can always have more than on mule. I have two slots that I pay for just for this.

Well, I must say this is a great post! I'm surprised not many people have commented on it but I'm gonna try it as soon as Bastok is in second or third (going to take a LONG while on Garuda). I can't wait to be rolling in the money :D. BTW, what is the most average time you can give as to how long it takes to receive the Aspir Scroll from starting your mule to gaining the scroll? Thanks!

It would probably be better to already have a mule open in windy that you can do the Aspir quest with the first time... also so you can put multiple Aspirs up for sale. I'll be sure to try this out soon ^^, while Bastoks still 1st and 2nd on Asura.

Thanks for reposting this. I went looking for it on this forum awhile ago, even posted a question asking if anyone knew where the "40 cornettes" post went. Got the typical allakhazam "blank stare" response.. ;)

Glad you posted it again. It's interesting.

Btw, do you by chance know the NPC buy prices for spikes and aspir? I wonder how profitable this would be once everyone floods the AH.

A highly abbreviated version of this just does the first 2 star onion quests... normally nets about 6k in about 15 minutes.

Why exactly does Bastok have to be first or second?

Also, this is a good way to get windy fame and also make some money for your main character too, eh?

'Cause otherwise you can't buy Cornette's from the music shop.

Yep I read Jute's first post about this sometime 2 weeks ago, Bastok was last ever since, and this Sunday it _finally_ got up into 2nd so today I did the quest. Right now I'm selling Aspir in Jeuno and awaiting my 50k :)

Good method of making gil :D

edit: my spelling is horrible
