Where's the beef!!!!!!!

Ok here is my imput on the entire cop additions......

1)Fix the check system so it checks correctally when you are soloing or in a party i.e. solo...the system would see you are soloing and figure it out accordingly vs a party and same goes but it would be a match for the party... ect.

2) Possability of new job or 3, and me being a meele class hunter would be a great addition.

3) Forthose who attempted to play ff x-2 there are some things i would like to see like the entire "oversoul" thing where you kill alot of mobs and it becomes essentially an NM, would possably fix the entire NM camping issue with certain bots that i know and despise. Also i would love to see the coin game from ff x-2 also where you get random coins from killing things and get to play in a tounament later with them to win stuff like ex/rare items and oh wait GIL!!!!!!!!

4) And last to make this game great for me just being able to do choco races somewhere would be fun in itself but thats just me.

Ok thats all i got would love to see what others imput is.

p.s. and yes everyone i am working on a movie should be out within 2 weeks.

1) New Areas. I want to explore these new areas, spoiler-free with my Linkshell. It'll be fun going someplace that's new, having to find out whatever you can about it.

2) New Mobs. I love fighting new mobs.

3) New Notorious Monsters. Hopefully they have some funky and interesting drops.

4) New types of Armor/Weapons.

I'm very realistic and won't wish that they would add new jobs cause frankly, I don't see it happening.

I wish they would allow me to find the receipe for the Sandorian Flamethrower. I know I need Blacksmithing (50) and Carpentry (31). It would make it so much easier to flame subjects then.

Actually I am excited about exploring all the new areas.

I'll jump in with everybody else, and say that I want more varied looks with regards to equipment and mobs.

I also look forward to new areas, but here's something I really wish about them; make them explorable!

When I think about so many of the places that we got in the expansion RotZ (Rise of the Zilart): Sanctuary of Zi'tah, Temple of Uggliteth (sp?), Ifrit's Caudron, Gustav Tunnel, Kuftal Tunnel, and so on. Many of the new zones will probably never really be explorable, because unless you are constantly invisible/sneak/deodorized, you will always be at risk of getting killed quickly. Even with all those, you are still at risk in some zones of aggro and death. Its hard to call somewhere explorable when even a level 75 player can't go there and survive.

Make at least some of the new areas explorable. One problem is that even with all the zones we have, the majority of people still crowd into a small number of zones. Square Enix needs to open up the new areas to people who aren't already at level 75 and simply bored. Make exploration available to the masses.

New weapons for sure!

Also a new system for NM's. that waiting crap is for the birds. ><

They should have it like the damn Forger & Morion worm, you have to obtain something & trade it.

It sucks to wait, & sometimes for hours for a NM that might not even drop the item.

I would mainly like to see 3 new jobs. The rest is really secondary for me, but getting rid of the 40 points after 60 skill cap on crafts would be good. Also, raising the Lvl. cap to 85 or 90 and adding another Mog Safe upgrade or two. Another Gobbiebag quest or 2 wouldn't be that bad as well. Fixing the /check system would be too much to ask I guess, because that system quite frankly pisses me off. Other than that new mobs, armor, weapons, and the like are all slightly unimportant to me. I already know there will be new mobs in the Emptiness areas if you have been to the website and seen them. As far as I know they are nothing like other mobs I have seen.

P.S. 3 Jobs I would like to see are: Geomancer, Oracle/Time Mage, and some other melee job.

New weapons/armor/jewelry/eating utensils (thats a joke)

New NMs (please! Overcamping is so bad)

New quests/missions ala RoZ

Kefka! (j/k)

Oh, and DEFINITELY new summon avatars maybe even a whole other tier of them eventually leading to Bahamut! Although I kinda doubt they'd want to release the big daddy this early in the game.

New models of the existing races. Not a new race, just a bigger variety. Its insignifigant, but something i would like to see happen.

How about a storyline a player can follow from start to finish without having to coordinate 3-4 different alliances, be Level 70+, and Rank Infinity? :P

The thing I liked most about the Final Fantasy games were their stories and characters. Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Yuffie, Squall, Quistis, Selphie, Irving, Wakka, Yuna, Rikku, Riona, Aerith, Tidus....and, of course, Cid. They had interesting adventures with real story twists...and you *cared* about them.

But how can I find any thing to care about in Vana'diel, when every story is far out of reach, and most of the players are too busy raising levels and upping skills to care about helping you beat the quests you need to get the tale told?

I've been taking a sabbatical from FFXI for awhile...Got myself a PS2 (no hard drive), and started playing Kingdom Hearts 'n FFX. I'm hoping my absence will make my heart grow fonder for the actual game.

I want one thing.

To be able to send items to others' Mog Inbox from my Mog House. Get tired of every time I want to send an LS mate a piece of whatever so they can do a synth, I have to leave my mog, run to AH, then back to mog (if using my mule). What a hassle.

I would really like to see an arena, possibly accessed from Juneo, where the Ballista events were held. The schedule of events could be posted right there and people could gather in the stands to watch the events and cheer on their home nation.

The current method of holding the events out in the zones seems a bit strange, so I hope it changes.

Dear Squaresoft,

I have a few L337 suggestions to make FFXI even more r0x0r. Please forward this and this forum thread to Mr. Hironobu Sakaguchi, as I'm certain he gives a @#!7 about what we have to say, and will respond immediately.

First, is the playonline viewer. The viewer needs to be streamlined so that it takes more clicks to get into the game. YEs, I know people ask for the opposite, but I think it only builds anticipation for the greatness of FFXI if we have not 7, but 15 clicks to get into just the starting logo! And from there, another 20-30 clicks to select the character, and a dozen or so to confirm that you want to play the game. I mean,... REALLY want to play. Yes, really. Add to that a new disclaimer that says "FFXI:Chains of Promathia is really about CHAINS to YOUR FREAKIN SOUL and will SUCK the LIFE from your friends, family, school and work until you are a lifeless Wendigo of a human". Bundle this into a newly branded Playonline Service Viewer (P.O.S. Viewer) and I think we have a winner.

Now, the game. Meh, it's ok at the moment, nothing special. What would really make it FUN and invigorating would be to make it more cross-cultural! Yes, so that we can communicate better with not only the kinky schoolgirl in Japan, but also the Chinese gil farmer slave kid who just got fired from Nike and is looking for a new break. Cuz it's all about making friends. So I suggest installing a little voice module that lets us NA players view and speak to the characters on the other end. And it would let us play WAV files and such to our hearts content, so as to entertain our foreign friends. For instance, I could cue up themostannoyingsoundknowntoman.wav and play it over and over again for my friend the chinese gilfarmer. Because we NA players know what's best in all things, this would only be one-directional, so we can play sounds for them, but we don't need to hear in return. Also, the game would give us the exact email and physical address of these players, so we can pay them a friendly visit the next time they steal my NM for the thousandth time.

Chains of Promathia sounds fun! I look forward to the new music by Nobuo Uemustsuck. But I have a wish list for the new audio tracks. See, I just got a used '87 Casio keyboard for my barmitzfah, and it cranks out a remix of the 'chicken dance' and 'macarena' when I press the 'demo' button. I would be more than happy to send you a recording, which I'm sure will BLOW YOU AWAY because you know all about quality music and sounds. Speaking of sounds, I think I have a suggestion for the crazy fireworks audio. I say we replace the sound of our footsteps with the audio of the freaking gun shot fireworks. Good times! That way every step will be announciated with fun and good cheer much like Summerfest was. And when you cast Sneak, the sound changes from gunshots to the Japanese Reggae, because we all know how good that sounds.

Well phew, I've said a boatload, and I'm sure you programmers at Square are busy trying to protect honest players from bots and whatnots, so I'll sign off now and just wanted to say that I love you guys and can't wait for the goodness that will be Chains of Pathetica,...er, Promathia.

Sincerely,
Altego

i want a "Issen" job trait for samurai, so that theres a percentage chance of a direct counter attack after a successful parry, that does critical damage.

This wouldnt be overbalanced as parrying is pretty rare when playing as sam, but would add a nice new trait to the higher lvl sam's who occasionally tank, or if it was added for sub 30, then a extra benefit for people who sub sam (all two of those pre 60 people)
