To Lady: Kudos for being big enough to admit when you've made a mistake. Things like this really do mean alot to people. You have definitely been helpful in a wide variety of ways. If this new attitude you've acquired helps you to relax and enjoy yourself more, then I'm happy for you.

To Tarmacity: honestly if you don't care to read it, then don't. Don't click on the thread. You know what it's about. You know what's gonna be there. Basically by going out of your way to post on this thread you've demonstrated that you do care. If you really didn't care you wouldn't have posted, you wouldn't have even read the original post, you would have just skipped it and looked for something else that you did care about. All you're really doing is just contributing to the forum drama, probably because it does something for your ego. Please drop the holier than thou attitude, it's really disgusting when people insult people after they've admitted to a fault.

She didn't waste space, she posted to "Johnny". We were nosy and looked in here didn't we? I am glad I was nosy because in light of all the flames on this board (including yours), it's good to see that someone took time to apologize to someone in a very public manner. I don't believe it was ego that motivated this post, I think it was an effort to be direct and catch the eye of who she intended. After all, no one can accuse Lady of *NOT* being rather direct.

The things I don't care about: 1) People ******** about their karma. 2) All of the dramatic fall-out that comes from people ******** about their karma. The things I do care about: 1) This board should, for the majority of the time, be talking about FFXI. Lately, it seems to be a forum of ******** about your karma, crying because your name is no longer red, and going ballistic because you feel you've been slighted by the evil "trolls."

Sure, it's going to go off-topic once in a while, but keep it inside the thread that originally started it. I read and post in these threads because they're pointless to the topic at hand (FFXI), a concept most people can't seem to grasp. There's no need to further the problem by creating new threads dedicated to whatever perceived slight you happen to have received or inflicted. I don't see it so much as a "holier than thou" attitude, simply a "This thread is off-topic and pointless to FFXI," and that I will comment on. You don't see me running to the front page of the forums to post a new thread saying "STOP WITH THE OT ******** AND KARMA *************** it's cause and effect. If that's "holier than thou," I suppose I'm in the wrong place, because I assume a FFXI message board will mostly pertain to FFXI, instead of all this background noise.
