Rank 9 Fame Everywhere Except NorgFollow

Summary: Buy as much Boyahda Moss as you can carry (try for 20 stacks) they cost about 8k at any AH. Trade them to Melyon in Selbina. He will pay you 7200/stack. So you lose 800/stack but it is not in vain as this quests boosts fame in just about everywhere. I started with Rank 6 fame and I traded 20 stacks before warping back to check fame. I was a hero in all the above listed places. You can read more about fame on the main page here by clicking the fame link.

I started with Rank 6 Bastok and San d'oria and after trading 20 stacks I had Rank 9 Fame In Bastok/San d'oria/Jeuno/Selbina/Rabao.

Windurst/Kazham/Muhura

This will be a little more costly. The Beehive chips are about 3.5k/stack and you will only get 1200 back but again this will get you started building fame.

Paying Lip Service

Do the Beehive chip hand in about 5-10 times to get you started with fame. (Only Needed if you have LOW fame).

The All-New C-2000 Do this quest. You need no fame and it is step One.

A Greeting Cardian

Do this quest Next. If you cannot get this quest make sure you have done the The All-New C-2000 above first and you haved ZONED after completeing it. If you STILL cannot get this quest do the Beehive Chip Quest a few more times.

*Note after teaching the Cardian the "bad word" you need a wait 2-3 real life days before the quest will be offered to you. When it is the Cardian is located at the Outpost in Buburimu Peninsula (5 of Spades). When you talk to it, it will refuse to change it's greeting and you just warp back to Windurst after that.

Finally Last step An easy quest to get you Windurst/Kazham fame and make a profit.

The All-New C-3000

Make sure you have zoned after completeing A Greeting Cardian above.

Windurst is usually sold out of the Hecteyes Eyes so buy them in Bastok or San d'oria. The beetle shells cost about 200g each and the eyes about 3k/stack. You get 600g each time you do this quest. Keep trading until you hit Rank 9 Wind fame (shouldn't take long) and you will earn bout 200g each trade. Not alot but helps to make up for the loss you had on the moss.

After Competeing these quests (which if you have the money up front should only take you about 2 hours) you will have Rank 9 Fame everywhere except Norg and will be able to get every quest in the game so far as long as you do all the prerequisite quests first. This will end up costing you anywhere from 20k-50k depending on how many times you need to do the beehive chip quest. If you already have some Windurst fame you can skip the Paying Lip Service and earn all the money back you lost doing Only the Best when you do the The All-New C-3000 quest. I wasted lots of gil as I couldn't figure out why I was unable to get the The All-New C-3000quest so I did the Beehive Chip quest a bunch only to figure out that I was just missing the A Greeting Cardian quest. /cry

EDIT - The less Fame you have starting this quest the more times you need to repeat, but this is still the fastest way to level up your fame.

Also contrary to what I have seen posted elsewhere doing Selbina Quests (ie Paying Lip Service ) does NOT lower your Windurst fame in ANY way.
