Ummm... Wow. Heck it's bad enough controlling my BLM to see has ailments, needs healing, what needs nuking, Let alone 6 character of my own.

You the man Chainspell.

I always wondered what was with that naming scheme.

Seen him around, haven't seen his party in action. If you don't know they are all the same guy, and they aren't just following one another.. you'd never know.

That's cool, See you around unicorn.

EDIT: guess I have one question

Does having all those speakers make that room incredably loud?

Or do you jus thave one computer running sound at a time?

when im exping i turn them all on, just a little sound is enough, so its not too loud :)

His PT setup has a nice balance and appears to be low maintenance.

Bard is a good choice because of the group buffs makes it a bit easier to play than a RDM

Paladin is the ideal tank because a SATA isn't necessary.

Dragoon is good for hate control.

Blm and Whm if he knows what to fight then these jobs don't require alot of attention.

Just find the right camps and I can see this going rather smoothly.

5 man parties work, you just gotta target VT-IT mobs and the xp is rather decent due to lack of a 6th man which would require an IT+ for similar xp.

its actually 2 L desks or A desks that i modified. its like 2 L desks instead of putting them side by side to form a U, i put one infront of the other. so basically the keyboards sit on the front desk and the monitors sit on the back desk. added some more wood, added some holes and there we go lol. most of the wires are hidden on the back underneath and theyre arranged and labeled.

i use X10 to control 4 different light sources, the monitors, tv, reciever, ac, etc. it makes it easier to just sit and switch modes :) and when i wanna go to sleep theres an all off function that just turns everything off in one click :)

I'm glad you are in acceptance of this, but you are missing out on a big part of the game - the social side.

Whatever floats ya boat.

hehe okay ur entitled to watever u wanna think :)

ppl who know me in game, probly wont say that lol, theyll probly laugh at u for saying that too :) but still ur entitled to watever u wanna think :)

but here's wat i think...
the total tells that i send and recieve, the total lines of text that pass thru the ls messages, the total number of alliances ive formed and led, the total parties and battles, the total bcnms, the total number of people i know and who know me, the total number of people ive helped, the total quests ive done with other people and missions and ranks achieved, my total 'social side' on this game is staggeringly and overwhelmingly enough for me :)

i hope u dont mind me saying that :)

Your bard doesn't have to tell people where to stand. I am extremely jealous.

Heh, I just requested a WP on the Unicorn forums so I can meet you and your 1 man party. ^^;

BTW: Controlling 5 PC's at once is amazing! The coordination + dexterity it must require sounds near impossible. I only wish I had that much time/money to devote to this game as you do. Controlling one character can be hard enough at times, but 5!!!!!!

You sir, are a God.

i am totally too lazy to read through this whole thread, but it is not that hard running multiple characters. if you're ever 2boxed before in any game, you'll realize that it's not that hard at all. all you need are a good set of macros. you dont even have to watch all five screens. you only have to watch one. the same information is going across all five screens.

I said it once, and I will say it again

The first time I ever saw Chainspell's party was almost two years ago in the Jungle. They were all dead. It was the first time I'd ever been to Elshimo and here was this pile of characters named after two hours on the ground. I thought it was a joke where maybe this group of friends would take these lowbie characters around Vana'diel and just die in a pile.

Later I found out that wasn't the case. Chainspell's party is truly one of the most famous groups on Unicorn. Not just because of the unique naming scheme and playstyle, but because he helps people out a lot, and ran (or still runs) a successful linkshell.

Any time there's an event happening, I don't need to check PlayOnline to know when it's starting. I just have to run by where the moogle will spawn in Windurst Woods, because the Chainspell party will literally be camped there for days. That Chainspell, he's effecient when it comes to running parties... but I still haven't figured out why he crowds that event moogle so much. I'm assuming the moogle must've had something to do with his party landing in that pile back in the Jungle.

1.) Get every relic weapon fully upgraded for each character.
2.) Perform Fusion skillchain.
3.) Create Light Skillchain off of Fusion.
4.) Continue Light three times over.
5.) Fraps it.
6.) ???
7.) PROFIT!

You have the power.

hello to all my unicorn server buddies :) and to all our sister linkshells everywhere lol :)

just wanted to say hello, and that i'm on almost my 3rd year in ffxi :p lol. all my characters are level 75 now, i hav 3 crafting guilds almost to 100 :) and this year im planning to level all the armor and weapon crafting guilds to 100. it will be easier now that im almost nearing the end of goldsmithing :)

friends have come and gone, and i'm happy that some have returned to us :) there's some that hav been with me since i was a low level--and they are valued above all else :)

so when will this all end? hmm idk really.. maybe next year. It is true that ffxi will suck ur life away lol. But it is only if you let :)

I wish everyone luck and happiness in your travels :) I wish that we don't lose our sense of adventure and of honor, and to act with decency and respect that our friends on this game deserve.

gee thanks :)

these are the kind of remarks that speak of envy--baseless, pointless and irrelevant, why cant other people just be happy for other people :) it took me awhile to earn what i have, and as for bragging rights, well talk to ppl in my server if i ever brag :) and oh yeah.. i make this post once a year :)

anyways thanks for saying your opinion :) but this is exactly the kind of negativeness the game doesnt need, and im sure alot of people will agree :)

Insecure and retarded !
(yes, using "ur" instead of "your" or even worse "you are / you're" proves you are retarded)

I'm impressed.

Edit : Don't confuse serious concern for the future of the english language (and several other languages, too) for envy.
Seeing how teens treat English, German, French, Dutch and probably some languages I don't understand is seriously scaring me : the day is not far that the human race is no longer able to communicate.

Well, to be honest, I do envy one thing : the money your parents have.
7 computers and 7*12.95$ every month = serious wealth.
I wouldn't put it all in FFXI if I had that kind of money, though.

How are you making the english language any better? I thought the punctuation goes right after the word ! ? ! ? ! 1 1 ?

I don't really know Chainspell but I see him alot.
