UBERLINK ... the ***** of Garuda ServerFollow

Anyone that is on garuda knows exactly that im talking about just from reading the subject... unless of course you are one of the vile human beings that are a part of Uberlink. They are notorious for being the biggest A$$ holes on garuda. More people hate Uberlink than any other LS. I rarely Backlist people but I looked at it the other day and noticed hat 3 of the 5 people on my Blacklist are from Uberlink. I know people that wont even invite a person to a party if they find out that they are from uber link. A friend of mine was at one time selling a lot of really expensive gear using shouts in Lower jueno. If I recall he was shouting Leaping Boots for 250k or something. Then he got a potential buyer and after finding out that they were uberlink .. declined 250k just to not associate with them.

My own personal experience... I Was in a PT that was working on Genkai 1 and we were after the bomb coal in garlaige. One of our PT members was Uber link and said that he had a LS budddy coming to help. Then 2 of his LS friends show up to help. We kill the bomb once and the Uber link guy got the coal. Then all of the sudden the 2 that came to help just bailed as did the guy that got his coal leaviong the other 3 of us without coal. Sent one of them a tell saying WTF why did you just bail on us like that we still need coal... responded with well .. not my problem.

Experience number 2: LVLing in Korlokka tunnel on worms. WE have an Uberlink thief in our PT. We just killed a couple of worms and the WHM has less tham 1/4 MP. Teh guy from uber link is sitting there and staring at a worm then draws daggers and attacks the worm we make it through the fight with 2 deaths. at the end of the fight I was like dude what the **** why did you attack it the WHM had like no mp. He responds with... I didnt the WAR did (blaming it on the noob WAR that was in the group). I send him a tell saying dude .. you were the first to attack .. I watched you attack it and it even says so in teh log that you were the first to attack. He responds with Then you must be blind. I said dude its ok if you did we all make mistakes. He responds with ... I dont make mistakes. then sends another tell saying I have 2,138,538 or some numer gil.. and im lvl 60 whatever ninja .. I dont make mistakes. I was like dude we all make mistakes its ok. Then he is like f**K you im not gonna sit here and be accused for things that I didnt do. He then proceeds to brag about how godly he is with all his gear and all the money he makes and how it makes him so much better than me and everyone else.

Experience numer 3: I organize a group to go kill Dark spark with a person from my ls. The BLM in our group then says that we will be meeting another group and form an alliance with them when we get to the castle. That alone is overkill to begin with but who cares .. just means that we will kill Dark Spark faster. We get there and guess what... the entire group that we meet is from Uberlink. Im already dreading it. As I suspected, one of them began to boss people around and overall was just impolite and acted as though it was such a burden that they were helping all of us with it. At one point he told all of us "low-lvls" (54+ by the way) to stay in this one area. Only 3 of us including me listened, everyone else kept on running. Then more and more demons began to aggro the Uberlinkers and the ones that didnt stay at the postition and so we ran in to help fight. Then all of the sudden the one dishing out orders says what the f**k I told you to stay put. Completely obliviouls to the fact that they were causing every demon in the area to link and that we were just helping clean up. So I responded "if you had said why, maybe they would" ... which makes sense if you are gonna give orders as to what to do and what not to do explain why. Poor leadership on his part. Its like telling someone that their plate is hot... you know that they will touch it if you tell them that, if you tell them that it could burn them and that the burn will hurt then they probably wouldnt touch it. Then all of the sudden I get a tell from teh BLM that is in my PT .. the same one that gut us in to this mess called an alliance with Uberlink. She says and I qoute "they are asking me to Warp you out of here if you dont stop complaining... so please be quiet". I was like what the hell I never complained about anything. the only thing I said that entire time was neither a complaint or a smart A$$ comment. But maybe they felt that their "Godlyness" was challenged. Next thing I know without having said anything aything to anyone .. I see Samoth Vanishes. I sent a tell to the BLM and was like what the hell was that for. She responds with Im sorry I didnt want to do that but they told me to because you were sending them tells talking S**T. For the record I never sent any of them a tell and so they made up that Lie and told that to our BLM to get them to warp me out. I explained to the BLM that I never did such a thing and I never complained about anything and was actually wondering why the hell they decided to single me out and be a$$holes to me. But them being Uberlink was explanation enough. I sent their PT leader a Tell asking what was going on and he was like .. you were Talking S**T so we decided not to help you... if you had been in my PT I would have warped you out myself... I reply with ... not once did I ever talk S**T or complain about anything. He is like .. not my problem and nor do I care. I Reply... that was completely uncalled for and you know it. He responds I can help whoever I like and I chose not to help you. So I respond .. just because you are a few lvls higher than someone does not give you the right to be a complete a$$hole to them. He responds yup I am an A$$hole and I enjoy watching people suffer. Then ... I can help whoever I want and I just did help these people and not you so you will have to sit there with your little gloves (obviously trying to rub int eh fact that he "thought" that he totally screwed me over, when in reality I already had a PT of real friends ready to go kill it NM). Then once again he exclaims that he is an a$$hole and that it is just a game and he can be an a$$ to anyone that he pleases because it is.

** By the way this Self Proclaimed A$$ hole is named Mxer .. he is a lvl 60 something BLM and dont forget its just a game so he will try to make people suffer and ruin other people's fun and just be an all around A$$ because he enjoys it and because its "just a Game".**

So anyway I really feel sorry for anyone that is a member of Uberlink that really is a nice person... wheter you know it or not you have a bad reputation just for being in that LS, as it is people like the ones that I have described that have run its reputation in to the gutter. I would hope that some of you value your reputation in our small little town of vanadiel and will leave the true S**T heads to drown in thier own egos.

Now .. to anyone that has read all the way through this... if you are on Garuda .. please feel free to share your Worst Uberlink stories ... as im sure you have them. If you arent on Garuda .. are there any other servers that have **** LS like this one?

And lastly to anyone from uberlink that is reading this that is a total Do**he Bag... get over yourself. You are basically living under the Special olympic principal. You may recieve a metal for winning the race in the special olympics ... but you are still a ******. No one cares how "uber" you may think you are. And no one cares how much gil you have or how godly you may think your gear is. Because despite the fact that you have spent an ungoldy amount of play hours to get where ever you are, No one really gives a damn because like our favorite BLM said before its just a game. Being "Uber" in a game does not change the fact that you have no real life and are just overall pathetic to think that being rude to people on a video game makes you "Kewl" or "L33T".

I haven't dealt with Uberlink or heard of them, but I have seen Mxer before.

I'm familiar with Mxer from another forum...a complete jerk. He enjoys flaming anything and everything just for the opportunity to be an a$$hole. One of the main reasons I switched to this forum to be honest. Fortunately I wont have to deal with him in-game for a long long time, if ever.

This was very interesting. Don't think I ever ran across anyone from this LS but then again I don't usually ever examine anyone so don't know what LS they're in. Makes me wonder who else could be in this LS. I ran across one high level player who acted in just this fashion. Now I'm wondering if he's in this LS. Most likely from his attitude he is. Sorry you went through that crap Samoth.

MY suggestions is taht if you want to act like this in game... there should be a feature taht allows people to "Warn" you.. kinda like AIM.. and after you get enough "Warnings" you become PK Enabled, and get a big Target symbol beside your name...

Syphon, Kwijiboe, Mystical, Mxer, Superthug, Chronos, Teefa. there are more of course. FYI: this linkshell kicked out members a few months ago that weren't lv50+ and you aren't allowed to join them unless you are lv50+.

people who used to be in uberlink but i think left them cuz they realized they are really stupid:
Knighthata, Governor, Sevenseas, Parasite, Mutalition, Riaky. there are more here too but i don't feel like putting down anymore names. and i'm tired.

ok, anyways, Mxer is a little jerk who will examine anyone he sees running around using any elemental staff, AF, or high level armor. so i have encouraged my LS and others to start running around naked in jeuno instead. it's kinda funny too.

Syphon will also do the same, but he will publicly yell out that you are poor with either a /say or a /shout in jeuno. something to the likes of " blah blah blah, you broke a$$"

they also do inapproriate /em ________ <t> stuff on people

i think it's common knowledge on the server that people don't like them. but there's only so much you can do. personally, just let it go and ignore them if you can.

This is the kind of system I was talking about. The automated one, with the PK flag, that could work. This one, where controled by the players wouldn't.

Usually LS's like that have a Median age of 14-15. They live for the game and have nothing better to do than try and wreak havok across your server. I'm in Diabolos and I have not come across anything like this or at least not to this extent.
A lot of LS out there start out as a group of RL friends and expand out to people met in the game that fit in with that LS. They become a nice hub for assistance and in turn you are called upon to help when you can where help is needed.
Others howerver are made up of young kids that act like...well young kids and anyone over the age of lets say 18 that acts like that is mentally challenged.
For instance if I see a person spamming racist comments like "I like rice, I bombed Pearl Harbor" as I did the other night while I was farming in Quifm, I send them a /tell asking why on earth you would say something like that? and then they respond by saying "it's just a joke".
Well many people would not have taken this as a joke and I would assume this person is on a lot of peoples Blist.
So these LS's are full of Kids usually and they're not community minded. They become a buffer for their members to attempt to Wreak havok throughout the server. But if they are Blisted by the people that have bad encounters then they will no longer have the power to do this.
I for one can look at the name of that LS and tell they are trouble right off the bat. Uberlink....sounds like a bunch of lame "L33T" kids that probably don't care about anyone but themselves....

ooo, i got another story. we went to do whm AF3 and we had 2 whms with us. 1 during the nm fight everyone but the uberlink whm died and he disbanded and joined another party that showed up and finished off the NM and took the item. then he left. and it wasn't his bell that was used. it was the other person's we had with us. sooooooooooo nice of him to do that. didn't even raise everyone who died.

another time, i went to help do rdm af there also, and we were taking forever waiting for someone. then it got to like 4am and we were still just sitting at the spawn point waiting. i left because they started cursing at me for saying that it is taking too long to fight nm. who waits around for 6 hrs to kill 6 NMs and not fight 1 at all? lol. silly peoples.

Man i wish i was on that server so i could kick the **** outta em with my bst. I hate ppl like that.
