Funny Noob Sayings. ^_^Follow

Well, I ran into a mid-level noob the other day. I am Windurstian. I was working on my rank 3 mission. I had everything done except for killing the Bastok Dragon. So I decided to recruit help in the Bastok Markets.

I get a /tell from a guy saying he would like to help. So, I do a /sea all to see if he can do the mission. He was Bastokian rank 2. I proceded to inform him that he would have to be rank 3 to help me with the dragon of his home city. He argued and argued. He then proceded to say "I have the book right in front of me." I responded with "Then read it!"

Not that funny, but still sort of noobish of meh when I first started...

Didn't think to equip me weapon and I went out and attacked a Yagudo, first thing. You can imagine the outcome.

I believe I have an ok story

My brother and I (brother age 15, my age 19) were planing on playing ffxi together since the news that it was launching soon so the day finally arives and I get the game and deside to play like crazy and I get my self to level 15 in acouple of days. My brother buys the game when I turn level 15 and installs/updates it. After going through the steps of making a character we tell each other over the phone to meet up near the shiva gate in windy. and this is what happend

Me: Hello?
Me: Hello?
Me: Hello.... Bro?
Me: /Shout HELLO?!?!?!
Random stranger: /shout WTF STFU!
Me: where is my brother?
Random Stranger: I dont know
Me on phone: where are you?
Brother on phone: I am near the W. W. guy
Me: *Runs around like a chicken with no head*
Me on phone: I think you are invisible
Brother on phone: This sucks I cant see you either


Little to my knowledge he was put on a different server than me.. what happend later on down the road is that I made him give up his level 10 war to make a new character in my server

I still feel like a n00b now and then.. especially when I try and attack a beast masters pet :-( and when I **** my self when I see some one say

Roommate: "Dude, I ****ing died because this game doesn't let you press pause during a battle!"

I goat punched him in the back of the head and went outside to smoke after hearing him say that.

Uh.. MM? Only other one I'm in. They made a suggestion recently about testing prospective members. I may be on Friday, so I'll ask 'em about it and tell 'em yer looking for a new LS. ^^

Bar had better let me play Friday, anyway. I want lvl 25 so I can Raise, dammit! >=D

Oh yeah.. saying that may be a noobish thing too. Dunno yet though, since I'd be a Raise noob. ^^

I saw a lvl 24 RDM without a sub-job in my Linkshell...
Soon after I managed to get the skull for him.

Then this lvl 11 DRG who has posted previously on this thread recently learned how to check price histories on the AH. Congratulations!

I got a few.

There was this lvl 1 war or something that comes up to me and says.
Noob-where do i go to fight
me-why don't you try outside

the guy may have logged and acctually gone outside, all i know is i didn't see him again.

I my self didn't know how to stack items untill lvl 10.

And finally the last one I remember.

Hume(Dead)- can you raise me
Me(galka monk lvl 14 or so)- no i can't raise im a monk
Hume - come one raise me i don't wanna walk all the way back here

I was leveling BST in dunes today....

I charmed a sand hare and not having much else around, I sent him to attack another sand hare. Well, a couple of valkurm 'freshmen' thought it was pretty neat watching two sand hares fight. They knew enough about the game to know that I was controlling one, but they got up real close to watch the fight anyway (Note: I was a good distance away). Well, towards the end of the fight, the mob used whirl claws and smacked the 2 spectators in the face as well.

(guy) that wasn't cool, man, we just wanted to watch

(me) /sigh

Ok, I have another one. I was in a low-level party, about levels 6-8 of 3 people, and we were going to go up the hill in N Gustaburg to do the monument quest at the top of the hill. We have been talking about this quest for about 10 minutes, I had already gotten the quest, and told the other guys where to get it and they met me at the Port Bastok gate. The three of us go out, fight our way up the hill and get to the monument. One guy and I go up and put the flowers down, and the other guy says:

Confused Guy: What do I do?
Me: Put the flowers down.
CG: What flowers?
Me: The flowers for the quest.
CG: I don't have any flowers.
Other PT member: Man, you followed me to get the quest, you didn't talk to the guy?
CG: I thought you got the quest up here.
Other PT member: What did you think I was doing then? You were standing right there.
CG: I just followed you, that's how you do quest right?
Me: No, I told you guys to talk to (whatever NPC it was).
CG: Then why the f*** did I run all the way up here? ***** you guys.

And then he left. Poor fellow, hopefully he was able to go back and get the quest later, but it was just amazing because I explicitly told them what to do, and one guy got it just fine, and the other guy, well I hope he's doing ok.

Ok, im in the dunes last week (ugh ><) trying to get some pitiful xp...
this was in shouts, and is as best a reconstruction i can manage, i wish i'd written it down i was laughing so hard

in retrospect, i should have just told him "make a provoke macro, and press it every 30 seconds" so many stupid "tanks" out there who wont voke even after you tell them specifically to do it... friend of mine had to train a lvl 33 war how to voke the other day?!?!?!?! ;_;

a level " 1 " taru ask me to take him to jeuno !!! really he was REALY level 1 newbie, i was like ok, well he follow me, i was 34 DRk/War. i did tried to protect him, but he die in one hit, and he want me shout for raiser ^^ but the amazing part is taht i actually saw him in Jeuno and asking ppl to help to get him back to bastok.
