Basically a FAQ of threads that for one reason or another turn in to Can-O-Worms.

First off i am gonna try to keep opinion out of this. but some may slip in.

Second in most cases these theads are threads with no real answers but lots of opinion. best to make your own judgement in most of these cases.

Main Forum(S): General tho occasional will pop up in any
Main Camp(S): really breaks down into two main camps and two sub camps. there are the "Its Rude" and the "Its Not Rude" with the not rude camp breaking down to the "Its Not Rude because if it bugs you you can turn off the check notice" or the ever vocal "Its Not Rude and your a Idiot/moron/have no life if you think so" camp.
Facts :Only real facts of this thread are. 1. a large number of people including most japanese thinks its rude. 2. alot of people think its not. its your choice to do so or not but be aware that it may be considered rude by the person your checking.

Botting
Main Forum(S): Trade Skill and General
Main Camp(S): Two Main several sub. Main being "bottings bad" and "bottings fine" . the bad break in to the "Its against the rule" and the "It will destroy the game". the its fine break into the "Its a victimless crime" or the ever vocal "Its my game and mind your own buisness" camps.
Facts:Only real fact for this thread is its against the rules.

Begging

Main Camp(S): Really only one camp most people on these forums can not stand beggers yet we still get people coming in a defending the act.
Facts: Its your choice to beg or not but its one of the fastest ways to get Blisted

How do i make money
Main Forum(S): Ranger,Thief,Red Mage mostly Sone General
Main Camp(S): None really this is more a Can-O-Worms due to the fact few people are willing to give thier secerts away. plus the fact there are so many ways to make money in this game.
Facts: Fact is most people do not like answering this question other then vaguely. best bet is to do your research and find a ninch that needs to be filled on your server.

Price Fixing

Main Camp(S): "Its Bad" and "No Its Not"
Facts:: Some People really dislike it when you undersale them and can be very vocal about it. your choice to undersale but be ready (right or wrong) to catch alot of flac when you do. Karma Trolls love these threads.

PS2 vs PC
Main Forum(S): Seems to reach all forums at some time
Main Camp(S): To many to list
Facts: Fact is everyone has a opion on this. this thread should generally be avoided since its a pure opion based thread. Karma Trolls basicly live in these threads.

Do Bio and Dia Stack
Main Forum(S): Red Mage mostly but appears in all mage forums at some time
Main Camp(S): "yes they do" and "no they don't"
Facts: Fact is when this thread reappears you can almost hear the collective groans of board regulars. No One Really Knows the answer tho many claim to. since SE has not stated one way or the other on this any answer is pure opion. you should make your own choice about this and go on your way. there a few better ways to tank ones karma then to respond to this thread topic.

Summoners are gimped/broken/useless

Main Camp(S): Two big ones are the "yes they are" and "no they are not" with a third less vocal camp saying they are a poorly designed class that needs tweaking.
Facts: a very hot and diverse topic with few facts. main fact being that without high lvl help you need to be lvl 60ish to get any avatars other then carbuncle. this is what leads to the debate. many assume that because you get all the avatars at once its a broken/useless class. just as many assume that its a job ment to reward people for getting to lvl 60 for the same reason. again no one really knows the answer tho many claim to since SE has never stated thier intention with this class. one thing is for sure its a pain to get this job not matter what lvl you are.

We should be paid for rezzing
Main Forum(S): White Mage sometimes Red even appears in Main Forum from time to time.
Main Camp(S): "yes we should" "no you should not" and "its your choice"
Facts: Really a personal choice here but if you are gonna charge at least let the people know up front.

Whites are not needed at higher lvls
Main Forum(S): White Mage and Red Mage mostly but sneaks its way into most at sometime.
Main Camp(S): "Yes they are" "No they are not" and "Depends"
Facts: Really a it depends. at higher lvls whites(any class for that matter) are easier to replace. but as for being not needed thats really a opion and not a fact as white can get groups at any lvl. it just takes time at the higher lvls.

Rude whites/Whites who think they are god

Facts: all jobs have people like this. whites just seem to catch more flac about it. this is another karma busting topic that should be avoided in general. this topic can and does apply to all jobs.

Having a converstion in shout/Being rude in shouts

Main Camp(S):None most people consider this to be rude
Facts: Right or wrong there are few faster ways to find yourself the blist of people you have never met


i probally missed quite a few due to the fact i do not read some of the job forums since i main play red mage. fell free to add to the list but please lets avoid discussing the threads and stick to mearly listing them.
