Anyone else reading these posts at work?Follow

Just out of curiosity I want to see how many people read through this board from work. I'm a computer administrator for bank and all of it's branches. When it's not busy I like to read through anything I can for FFXI....but I'm not an addict ;)

I certainly do. My job is such that if I'm not on the road I have little to do, so when I can I spend my time here.

Oh yeah. I only post here from work because if I'm at home, I'm playing FFXI!

i dont think ive ever been to this website from home.

i plan out my play schedule at work (research mssions, quests, scrolls), print and go home and play. :)

1. Get into work, get coffee
2. Make a list of things I want to do that night in FFXI
3. Do the research here :)
4. And maybe...look at my work...maybe...

Sorry, I didn't have enough room in the title to add school but this thread applies to anyone who is using the net to access this site when they probably should be doing other things ;) I'm just glad I have enough free time at work to read through most of the daily threads.

I'm really glad I'm not alone in the fact that I do my FXI research while I'm at work and right when I get home I put it to use. Of course I have to make food for myself first since I don't have a girlfriend living w/ me at the moment and my mail order bride from Thailand was sent to the wrong address!

I have had EQ on my work computer forever and just yesterday installed FFXI, when I'm here on the weekends, I'm the only one here so I play..or if the boss leaves for any reason :)

And yes I read these boards from work :)

I have a tabbed browser open to allakhazam all day... Multiple tabbed browsers rock... and so does window/d. :)

I also have a research pc on my desk at home.. so I can surf while playing ffxi too. :)

so I'm starting to think if this thread should have been called anyone actually read these posts at home?

Sounds like we all have one thing in common... we go to work, or our daily routine, with ffxi on the brain... research, print, think about work, read the boards, work IF and only IF no one has replied to anything worthwhile, and then go home to login. As for the making dinner... ***** that... I can always order delivery while I'm healing. =p.

I must agree with everyone i work the graveyard shift(11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.)Central Time and i love it. There are no supervisors or bosses here at night so i can browse these forums all night hehehe. That also means i have all day to play w/2-3 hrs sleep. Once i get bold enough im installing FFXI on my laptop and patching into the network here at work as the pc's here wont let you install, download, or change any setting. They are all controlled by the Network Admin. That gives me 6 hours of research and strategy time. The last two hours of work im rushing to get everthing done before the next shift clocks in. HAHAHAH Getting paid to read allakhazam!!!!! It doesnt get any better than that.
