I made these two animations of my g/f's character for her. I thought I'd share them. I also made a flash SWF version and they were taken from a FRAPs capture.

Does anyone know of a good way to cut out the character from the BG? I could save a lot of filespace if I could do that but I cant get a consistant cut and need a "green screen" or something in-game. Hmm... where could I find a good green screen in the game... hehee
Can't you just take all the screenshot frames and change the background on them? I've done this with everquest screenshot sequences, its pretty easy to do if use a photoshopping program (PSP or Adobe photoshop).
On each screenshot, just use the lasso cutout tool, and get the character and place him on a different background(or transparent one if you want). All you have to do is make sure each frame is the same (or even just similar) pixel dimension, palette, and character placement. After that, you just use an animating tool (like gifconstructionset) and you're done.

Hmmm, i'd try like La Theine. Green Grass everywhere there. But the grass is textured so not very consistent...come to think of it, why don't you try up against one of the crags. They are all white. That would seem like an easy color to filter out. Magic Wand Tool!
