"KujataClock v1.0
----------------
Hello, KujataClock is a clock program similar to the clock in Final Fantasy
XI which lays beneath your radar. You can use this clock to aid you with
gardening and notorious monster hunting, or anything else that you can think
of. The advantage is that you dont have to keep entering the game to see what
time it is, or stay in the game, you can do whatever you like while
having the clock on your desktop. Here are some important tips:

* THIS PROGRAM REQUIRES THE .NET FRAMEWORK, OR IT WILL NOT WORK! GO TO
WINDOWSUPDATE TO DOWNLOAD IT!

* UPON STARTING THE CLOCK, IT WILL BE SLIGHTLY ABOVE YOUR TASKBAR.

* THE CLOCK CAN BE MOVED ANYWHERE, CLICK AND DRAG THE TIME.

* THE POSITION WILL BE SAVED AND WILL ALWAYS SHOW UP THERE WHEN STARTING THE
PROGRAM.

* YOU CAN PUT THIS PROGRAM IN YOUR STARTUP FOLDER TO HAVE IT LOAD WITH
WINDOWS.

* RIGHT CLICK THE TIME AND CHOOSE EXIT TO EXIT THE PROGRAM.

* LEAVE YOUR MOUSE ON THE COLORED GEM TO SEE WHAT DAY IT IS VIA A TOOLTIP,
INCASE YOU HAVEN'T MEMORIZED GEM COLOR->DAY.

* IF FOR SOME REASON YOU HAVE DRAGGED THE TIME OUT OF THE DESKTOP AND CANNOT
RETRIEVE OR SEE IT, USE REGEDIT AND DELETE THE "FFXICLOCK" KEY AND IT WILL
SHOW UP NEAR YOUR TASKBAR AGAIN."

Before people start asking about the EULA and such, is this a desktop app only or is it available in game?

its just a simple desktop app i highly doubt this violates any rules.

Sounds handy... but (and I hate that I have to say this) what sort of assurances can you provide that this isn't doing something malicious in the background? Can you supply the source code with it?

Cheers.

it doesn't do anything malicious, you can scan it all you want and check your internet activity (it doesnt even use your internet connection at all actually), it just does what it's supposed to.

Well I'm using it now :)

My only comments are:

- I wish I could change the color of the text
- There seems to be a memory consumption problem (watch it's memory usage grow each time the clock ticks [Edit: mine stopped gobbling mem after 13,368k])

Thanks for the tool.

I'm not quite sure what is causing the memory consumption, it could be any of the things in the program lol, to tell you the truth this is my first .NET program and the code is pretty sloppy, thankfully it seems to be working ok and the memory consumption isnt TOO bad. I will consider adding color change for the text, thanks.

you should really change the color of the font, it is barely readable.

Someone gets extra points for writing this in .NET, that's really cool. You might want to point out, though, that the system clock needs to be accurate in order for this clock to be accurate. :)

NotCoach,
In Windows XP: Start -> All Programs -> *Right Click* Startup Folder -> Click "Open" in the dropdown menu.

Startup will open as an Explorer window. From there you can drop this EXE into the startup folder, or create a shortcut that points to the EXE somewhere else on your HDD.

Ok, heres what I want. I want the clock to be locked to a point on the desktop. I dont want to have to move it every time I start up. And I want a font color selection. I have a mostly black background on my desktop, but clock can still be hard to see. So get on that. I want what I paid for. :P
