can't say that i know the answer, but i do know that if you sub beastmaster it would be a waste of time. if you subbed something more useful to dragoon like warrior or thief or even redmage or whitemage your skills would be more useful to you and your party and thus you would kill things before they would kill your wyvern in turn saving you the time of having to sit and heal it.

i'm dragoon/warrior here as for now and i hardly have to sit and heal my wyvern at all, in the beginning it is easier to die but in a good pt it hardly dies at all, i haven't lost mine in a few days, and when i did it was because i died, not my wyvern first.

so if you're going to sub bst just for wyvern healing, think about the time you would save by being able to kill faster instead. also another question (not rhetorical) to add is, when they do the breath heals, do they not heal themselves?

oh but play what you want to play, play what you like, if you want to play bst by all means sub it, just don't do it if just for wyvern healing. (wyvern isn't our greatest strength anyway)
and try it out for yourself to see if it works and let us know.

Speaking As A Lvl 40 DRG I Know For A Fact Taht You Cannot Under Any Cirsumstances heal Your Wyvren Except For Resting Or Your AF Armor Puts Regen On Them .... It Is Sad Really But You Cant ...... Glad I Could Help!
