Inventory size increase possible?Follow

#1 Jan 26 2004 at 8:24 PM Rating: Decent
Is there any quest or something that would allow me to carry more than 30 items? I mean a ninja have to carry a lot of powders, not only that, full equipment take up to 16 item blocks plus some people like to switch between different types of weapons. All this makes hunt for items almost impossible. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!!!

I have the same problem. Bluffnix (sounds like a character from Asterix&Obelix.. LOL) in Lower Jeuno gives away some quests to increase it. Each time it increases with 5 spaces, and there are 4 quests as far as i know.

here is the link to the first quest on allakhazam:

I will get you started with this one:

You can use this websites Quests database from there.

I would not mind having only 30 slots if they would just remove the equipment from that category. I understand if you don’t have it equipped, but I believe that if you are wearing armor, it should not take a space in your inventory.

i agree! i hope to see this changed sometime soon. If I go out fully equipped (all slots filled) i can carry some meat, and if i'm lucky i have about 6 slots open for treasure... kinda weird.

Also, the items for these quests are very costly. But if anyone finds a cheap way to complete this quest, keep me posted :)

i finally understand this inventory system and why it started out low.

just like everything else, you may not have the best equipment or items when you go around the 1st or 2nd time (jobs).

but as you get more advanced in lvl, spend more time in-game, do more quests, your character gets better. the gob bags help make your character better. when you have more slots, you feel more able to carry extra food buffs or equipment. you come away with more loot. all this makes you better than when you started, better than someone else who didn't do these quests.

if you start a new job and you have 50 inventory slots to fill before you return to town, you'll be better than the low level char who only has 30.

and fyi you didn't ask but there are also quests to increase your mog house inventory size.

I don't remember the names of the mog house quests.. but I know one item you need is a bed.. I forget what they are..

The gobbie bag quests - I have lvl 1 gobbie bag and I like it.. it cost me about 15k to purchase all the required items for the gobbie to give me 5 extra slots.

lvl 2 gobbie bag is over 25k in items.. I'm passing on that for now.

I haven't looked into mog house increases, but I know you can.

For the mog house increase, buy a bronze bed, put it in the house, and leave it there until a week later. Actually, you only have to wait until the following sunday, after they do the new kingdom tally, but either way...

Then the mog will give you a quest to find him a power bow and a beetle ring. Buy them, then trade them to the mog, and the next RL day you'll have a new mog safe. Check out the homesick moogle quest to find out more.

Total price I payed on Odin server for Gobbiebags 1-4 was 92,752. Someone asked me 'Why spend so much gil on 20 extra slots?'
20 extra slots lets me stay out in the field longer and gather more loot. If I was a fisherman, those slots are worth 80k gil of moat carp. As a silk farmer, 200k in silk. Or 3600 in Crawler Calculi^^

Simply put, they pay for themselves rapidly.

The Mog House quests I believe require:

Quest 1 - Brass/Bronze Bed
Quest 2 - Mahogany Bed
Quest 3 - Noble Bed
