That's the idea isn't it?

If our RLs were fine, why would we need games?.. or anything else for that matter.... T.V.s, Cars, Music, Sex, Good Food, Computers, Books, et cetera, et cetera....

ALL IS VANITY

There have been tons of posts on this suject in the past. It interferes with some more then others.

For instence, I read about this guy on these forums that only gets about 2 hours sleep most nights because of this! lol! And there are some people that don't even sleep on the weekends. I've also heard about a few people loosing their girlfriends over a stupid game. Sad, really.

me? Well, I'd be lieing if I said it didn't interfere with my life AT ALL. For one thing, I spend about 2-4 hours longer on the computer per day. This usually means I neglect some things that I shouldn't.... but nothing as major as work, sleep, or my boyfriend!

I guess if you have nothing to do outside this game it wouldn't interfere with anything.

As a professional approaching my thirties with a wife/kids/cars/house payment sure this has taken some time. Then again so has my Warhammer 40k addiction. This is just another video game, and I've been playing 'em since '80 or so. The only thing this has done for me is stop me from playing any other PC/Console games. My consoles are quite dusty, and have a layer about 3 months thick on 'em now cuz of this game.

I don't let this game interfere with my family, or my work.

Zandder is right. The only bad thing this game has done for me is failed my first semester college (worthless school anyway, won't go into it). But otherwise it's the substitute for other entertainment

Think THAT wehn you are playing this game...... If you have any problem with it.... Cancel your account immediatly.

"We are the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no great war, no Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our Great Depression...is our lives."

Best ******' Movie EVER. Chuck Palahniuk rules.

Honestly I can't say that Final Fantasy XI has interfered with my real life one bit. I've made more friends, and I've been a less depressed. It hasn't interfered with my work, or my RL friends, mostly because my RL friends love coming over and seeing the TaruTaru. Hehe ^_^

Seriously, I can watch my RL suffering, but I'm not doing anything about it. Geuss it helps me forget all that crap thats out there. It hasn't really affected my grades either, or my social life ^-^ Until I get my car...

Yea whatever, I'll still be home playing.
