Lv 23 war / lv 9 whm here so i wud say im seasoned vet, but i just cant remeber how u change ur title! its been driving me mad! someone please put me out of misery
In each major city, there's a bard NPC that will change your title to one that you've earned from a quest you've completed previously. It costs a minor amount of gil. Look on the NPC FAQ on www.gamefaqs.com, I believe they're all listed, there.
Titles change from doing missions and quests. The particular title depends on the quest. I had "Black Dragon Slayer" for awhile when I did the rank 3 mission.. only to lose it to "Certified Adventurer" when I actually completed the mission... but now I've done so many quests, etc. to get required fame that I don't even look at my title anymore. :)
Also, you can pay NPC bards to change your title to one you had previously.. but you don't get to choose from any of them.. the lists are limited.

I wouldn't. Putting everything in perspective, the only people I would really consider seasoned vets are the Japanese players who've been playing since the game's been released. Sorry if I've offended.
