Questions from a Noob looking for help...Follow

Ok, I've been playing FFXI for a week now and I'm slowly learning the UI and how the game works. I've got a number of questions that I'm hoping that someone will be nice enough to answer.

1. What are the key commands to take a screen shot?? I would love to get some pictures to show my friends that still play EQ.

2. Is there a way to fix a fishing pole?

3. Is there a way to translate Japanese text to English?

I think that's all of my questions for now. I'm sure that I'll have more as I play more. Thanks for any help!

Ok, here goes.
1.)Scroll Lock hides the menu screens, Print Screen takes a screenshot. You'll hear a camera sound if you're successful.

2.) I'm pretty sure there is, but I have no idea how to do it. I'm sure it's a craft skill.

3.)The only way to cross the language barrier I know of is with the auto-translator. It makes English text appear in Japanese for the Japanese players, and vice versa. However, if you do not use the Auto-translator, you're text will remain in English to Japanese players, and vice versa.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help.. now I have a stupid question.
Where are the pictures located? I took a number of pictures last night I now I can't find them. I've looked in the FFXI folders for them (Kind of like EQ)but they aren't there.

Oh! One other question.

How do I switch macro sets? After leaving a group last night I went to heal myself and it didn't go off. When I went to check the macro it wasn't there and the window said Macro Set 10. I don't know if I hit something in trying to figure out the UI or if it changes as I switch from Solo to LFG.

Thanks again for your help!

To switch Macro sets:

Hold CTRL or ALT, wait for the window to come up with your macro key definitions, and hit the UP or DOWN arrow. This will roll to a new bank.
