Camping etiquette, and excessive whining...Follow

Set the scene:

Khazam. The jungles. In the middle of pulling:

>>Joe Blow: Stop pulling, and move your party.

What now?

>>Joe Blow: We have this area camped. Everything in this area is ours. Find another spot.

Could you repeat that? I think you just said something that makes no damn sense.

>>All mobs in this map square area are ours.

Right. *pulls a mandragora*

*Joe Blow proceeds to follow me back to the party, what follows is what was on either talk or shout channels.*

Now, I can understand spreading out to prevent over-camping of areas. Lord knows I am a fairly reasonable person. However, trying to take a whole map square is just damn stupid. Wasting a GM's time for something like that is unreasonable, to say the least. How on earth someone with that kind of mentality made it to Khazam, I will never know.

Yeah I don't think people realize that every monster is fair game and that no one "owns" an area. The short minded child you talk of obviously thinks that what you did is an offense and he needs a drilling. They're only hurting their own reputation though :)
