I hear so many people complain about 'how hard it is to get gil' in this game. Why dont people look at this as more of a positive side. How boring would it be to get lotsa gil from just beating monsters normally. I think its a great idea to have to think of your own ways to get money. Some people fish, some people synthesize... I personally beat down Gobbues and steal their goodies, which sell for nice $$$.

Just think... if you could get insane amounts of $$$, then the price of everything would go up too.

"Wow... these Leaping Boots are only $1,000,000. Cheap!"

(PS - i've turned my back from hunting NMs... too many campers)

I make all my cash by being extremely cheap and crafting / playing the auction house / fishing. I have about 100k hard cash, 50k in stuff to sell and about 25 Arrowwood Lumber packs (3000 each).

It's fun to make money.

Your subject line reminded me of how I've been feeling lately. I suspect that quite a few of my LS friends are fish botting and it makes me really, really sad. I've been fishing for money lately too but I'm proud to say that every fish I've brought up has been reeled in by ME, not some script. I hate being poor and ghetto with missing spells all over the place but at the same time I'm happy that I got it all the right way.

As a player, fishbot disgusts me.

As a programmer, I have to say its pretty impressive.

Still, I don't want to risk my account, so I am with your brother. My fish are 100% player caught. No bots allowed!

lol, I think fishbots are funny. Especially when someone (obviously not very smart) uses it on the Selbina/Mhaura ferry. I saw a guy once who stayed on the main deck fishing when a Sea Horror spawned. It immediately locked onto him and proceded to beat the living crap out of him (while he merely stood there). Then, when the boat got to Mhaura, he suddenly starts ******** about being dead. I'd wondered why he never respawned, or asked for a raise, or something like that. When i realized what happened, I just couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes straight.

Know what? You can get leaping boots or the emperor's hairpin in about half the time it takes to camp them by farming. My leaping boots wouldn't mean nearly as much to me if I had just bought them though.

But I'm not going through that again for the hairpin, I'll just spend a few days farming and buy one rather than a week of camping.

Adjust the resolution of menus.
The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting.
If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.

I thought of it first:
