I'm a taru and I've been seriouslly thinking about becoming a ranger. I've only ever seen one taru ranger since I've been in the game. I've also never seen a drk taru. Most tarus will be casters, but is there any job you have never seen on a taru?
Personally I've never seen a TaruTaru ranger, but one of my best in-game friends is a TaruTaru Dark Knight. I haven't explored too much, so I can't say what I've seen, and what I haven't on TaruTaru, but I know that some of the odder jobs do exist.

Seen a Taru of everything other than Beastmaster and thats more due to the lack of them than anything else, go be whatever you want to be I am also a member of the divine race that is known as Taru and will be messin with about 10 of the jobs available to me.
I haven't seen many taru's around all together cause I don't like looking down.
A ranger will actually be 'decent' for a Taru. They might not deal the highest damage, but they do have the second best agi compared to any other races. more agi = higher accuracy. Hopefully that helped you.
Dude, whatever class you pick alot of people will be glad to pt with you... if you act cute. Nothing attracts more attention then a Taru acting cute. We all know it. Its a guilty pleasure. What about that Taru movie floating around here lately, the good one. Nothing but 15 minutes of Taru acting cute and everyone keeps watching it and giving it rave reviews.
I have to admit it.. When I first picked my race I thought the Taru was the stupidest thing I have ever seen (I'm the kind of guy who always picks the biggest race. EQ - Troll, DAoC - Troll, MOHAA - Americans :) But now I'm completely run over. I love the little guys with their adorable wooden spoons, pigtails and /panic. I cant get enough.
But I still dont play one.

I PTed with a Taru ranger and he pwned! He was pulling mobs and even taking a beating until the tank pulled the mobs off (tank was lousy). Great damage, and a whm sub for support healing. Went up about 3 lvls with that PT, not too shabby all things considered.
I must agree with the poster above me. I remember when I first saw the trailors for this game 2 yrs ago, I was like "what are those short things, thats not a race!" but now I see the whole cuteness factor and still laugh at every Taru's /dance.
