Run around the front of an AH screaming...

You'll make lots of friends and gil real quick that way.
For the more shy people out there, I'd suggest doing some simple quests around town. Get signet and hunt little mobs for crystals and various other items, and sell them at the AH.
There's really no get rich quick scheme in the game.

Ahhh the question that makes every experienced gamer either sigh or start bashing head against wall (love that thing Alienone :P )
Well i can give another 2 options about how to make money making
1. Give me your Pol account name and Password.
2. Look at first 3 pages of Posts of this Forum and see the 5-6 different posts showing how to make money.
One of those two options is a really really bad choice. If your smart enough to figure out which one it is, there might actually be some hope for you.

I was at the AH once, and a new player ran up to me asking for gil. They then tried to initiate a trade with me, without waiting for a reply. -_-

This works better than you would think. Some people are really desperate for friends and money can easily buy them. I should know- i'm a sucker for people begging for money because they are "just short" or "need a world pass for my dad". 10,000 gil has made me a few friends...before they disappear forever and I never see them again.

Starting out Do quests. example in Sandoria there is a guy who will give 200gil for 2 bat wings and it is unlimited. Sell the stuff you get from mobs. I recommend fishing as a trade for making gil. Whatever you do don't beg please :) There is no sure fire way to get rich quick, it just takes time.
