Me and my girl share an account on FFXI, If i buy another copy of the game for another computer i have, is there any way to transfer her character to that computer without her starting over from scratch?? Has anyone been able to do this? Thanks in advance..
If youre asking if you can play both toons at same time from same account, then no you cant. If youre asking if you can access same account from another comp, then yes you can. And dont need to buy another game to do it. Just load your game onto second comp. If your asking if your GFs toon can be transferred to another account then I doubt it. My suggestion to you is to call tech support and ask them if that is possible.

The answer is still Nope though. You cannot transfer character from one account to another. No matter what.

I covered that as well. I just didnt have as definite an answer as you did :P But I would still suggest calling customer support and try and sell it to them. Make them aware that it will be another paying account if they let him do it.

Anyways, you're only 21/10 monk, that's not too bad. You can redo the char in a week, and much quicker depending on what class your GF is (or vice versa).
