Starting city?Follow

I know that Mithras should start in Windurst, but would it hurt too much if i started in Bastok instead? I want to know what kind of disadvantages I'd get from starting there, do you not get that ring and the prices are higher or what? I plan on starting a Mithra monk and the Windurst ring doesn't seem too enticing. Also would i not be able to get the Bastok ring as a staring thing?

does it matter what type of body type I am, Small/Medium/Large, cuz i dont really notice a difference?
