So to deal with my boredom at work and the slow loading times. I have 3 different windows logged onto Allakhazam. I read and post on 1 while the other 2 are loading....produces very minimal downtimes.....
Anyone else doing the same thing?

lol, yeah i do that aswell. One window for main forums 2nd for job forums and etc etc. Or when i click on reply post or somthing i will go to the toilet and back, might be done in time.

Ya, I'm using mozilla w/ tabbed browsing and mouse gestures... makes it bearable. LOL, I have about 10 allakhazam tabs open right now.

Haha, same here. I always have like 5 windows loading. So sad, they really should update their servers.
Makes me feel like I'm using dial-up. I usually have about 10 windows open, shift+click is my friend.

Sorry everyone. Never in our wildest dreams did we think the FFXI site would do this type of traffic. You are now doing half what the EQ site does and 3 times SWG and DAoC. We ordered three new servers, which will bring our total to 9. That should solve the problems, but it will take 6-8 weeks at least to get them and set them up. Thanks for your patience.

Woot, cant help myslef but rejoicing to these news. People might say its a bit slow but i havent seen this site going "out of order" or anything.
