Hey all!
Im a lvl 10 elvaan warrior and i was wondering where to go when i unlock subjobs at lvl 18? what should i sub until i get to level 30.. and then when i do get to level 30 and get extra jobs what is best for elvaan? i was thanking dark knight as these sound real strong.. but there are many different jobs. wich should i choose to be a mighty elvaan?
And a little off topic question here.. is it just me or do the graphics in WoW REALLY suck? from looking at all the screenshots id say theyre using hte same engine as warcraft III but just stretched out! looks hideous! bah im sticking with FFXI all the way!

MNK is probably your best bet for a sub job at lvl 18. Its actually what most people choose for the boosts it gives a war in its ability to tank (more HP etc.). As far as adv jobs theres a few you could do fairly well. Dark, Paladin, Dragoon, Samurai. Just keep in mind that going all out with a Dark isnt that wise, the damage you would put up will pull the hate onto you, and you'll find a Dark's DEF isn't all that great pretty fast. ;)
...but the DRK armor is soooo nice :P
MNK is the obvious choice, but THF is very good to have leveled to 15 (you'll thank yourself later, when you're short on money)..
I wouldn't rule RDM out either, as that will get you some skills and a feel for playing a melee/caster.. you don't have to rely that much on MP either as a RDM, since they pretty much hold their own in melee in the early levels. Out of the basic jobs, RDM is by far the best solo class too, and useful as a sub once you start leveling your advanced job (always good to have that cure...)
IMO summary:
MNK - HP, Def, counter, boost (tank)
THF - Pretty weak until lvl 15, then VERY good
RDM - Melee skills on par with THF, added magic (my vote)
As for advanced jobs you'll be wiser once you get to 30, it's still a while to go ;)

Would Elvaans make good ninjas? ive always envyd ninjas for that dual weild.. and it looks so cool havin 2 swords on your belt!
Actually Elvaan's are lacking in the Dex and Agi department somewhat critical to the Ninja job. Granted they are in the same position with Theif and Ranger on those status grounds. Seeing as your asking if their good and not if you want to be one, they arnt on par with the Mithra or Humes. Much like the Ranger job for the Elvaan, they will always be one or two steps behind.
