Lately I have been seeing a rash of questions regarding GM's and what powers they have, so I have a question that may be of interest to some of us armor stat fiends.

Does anyone have any reliable information (screenshots, personal experience) regarding the stats and names of the GM armor? I have been looking all over the place and haven't found any decent information.

I ask becasue usually GM's get armor that has some pretty wicked stats, and I just like to see what sort of armor will never be available to me, and will probably be much better than any armor offered in game. Anything with a fire effect of air disturbance is just awesome.

Maybe I'll get ambitious and post my ideas for Armor variation in this game, where all armor between the lvls of 1 and 50 looks basically the same, save AF stuff.

Anyways, thanks in advance for any information you happen to dig up.. All I was finding was "so you want to be a FFXI GM?! get paid 7.50 an hour to "play" video games! Learn to take the heat for the developers when their system casues errors that require the assistance of someone representing the company! Reprimand 12 year olds for saying offensive things that we dare not list here! Learn to hate people and video games at the same time!"

Eh, I don't even think a GM is a real Character.. it's just a person who has a certain look. I hope you know what I mean.

Well, I have yet to even see one aside from pictures, but if it's anything like the Everquest GM's, they usually don't have a set class or character, but still have armor types that are listed as something like "GM only."

The ones in EQ had amazing stats, like +500 hp on a helmet, and like +90 resists and stuff. I was just wondering... so if and when anyone runs into a GM, do a check on them and see what you see. I know if I run into one, I'll get as much info as I can regarding it. Something tells me though that you probably shouldn't petition just to get them to show up... haha. Yet, if you are having an issue, and happen to need a GM, check him out I guess and let us know what you find.
