So I have a linkshell on my Elvaan and now I made a Taru just cus it looked like a fun race to play. T_T so I was able to give my taru a linkpearl via a sack holder, but now I want to make my taru a sack holder but I can't without logging into both characters at the same time >_>

I asked a GM if they could make my taru's pearl into a sack but he/she/it said "Only 1 sack holder per account."

... is this true or was the GM just being a lazy ***?

It's true. For a particular shell, the Shell holder can not have another character with a pearlsack. It's one of those fancy footwork things you have to do to get recruits a pearl.
