I'm just wondering, im a theif at the moment so when i get a sub job at lvl 18 which will be war, will i still have all my theifs comb skills, crafting skillz, fame, rank etc with my WAR/THF
Also if i use a completely new job like DRG without my THF subbed will i still have my rank, crafting skillz etc im guessing you wont have your comb skills anymore but the others?

Stuff that stays with you:
Fame, rank, craft skills, combat skills, magic skills.
Stuff that only stays with you if you either have it as a sub or main job: Job abilities, job traits.
So to answer your question: If you get your subjob quest done and main war then sub thf (your current main), you'll still retain all of your current standings in everything except you won't have all of the thf abilities/traits until it is a high enough level. your subjob can only be 1/2 te level of your main job. So say your War gets to 10, your thf will now be 5.
Same goes with if you decide to get drg later on.
