My school recently installed a firewall on their network. Now I can play Tetra Master with no problems, but when it comes to FFXI I can log in and play, but it is REALLY lagged and most times my R in the upper right corner sits at zero.
Any ideas what I need to do or what I need to ask the guy in charge of IT?

I doubt there's anything you can do yourself about it if beeing hooked on school network, you will most likely have to ask the guy in charge of IT
Well yes... but I have to know what to ask him because he is a moron >.<
