Ok back to buisness I have noticed alot of low lvl whm's wondering how to lvl low lvls with out a pt so i'ma tell you.


It is actually simple you have to go Whm/Rdm even if your rdm is lvl 1 that is all you need. Get dia and cure of course and find ne other whm or rdm out there beeing your a whm there all more then happy to cast Protect on you most tiem i don't even have you ask i just get it randomly. get a hammer not the lil spoon thing and go out and dia 3-4 decents right on the spot you keep running don't engage them till you have the 3rd or 4th diaed "sometimes you'll have trouble gettin dia off wih 2 or 3 mobs chaseing you but since dia is soo fast to cast that is rare if it does happen turn on slay them and start over" this got me lvl 8 in NO time at all after 8 this gets more complicated though.

Ne other Self power lvling tips needed?

1: if you think this is a joke you never had a lvl 1 with protect or protect 2 on and tested your self so no it isn't a joke and doing this i made a few high lvl pal and whm friends

2: I will admit that I was mithra so a taru taru might have trouble with this but one or 2 cures should fix it i didn't have to use cure in battle I did just fine find me in shiva i'll make a blm and show you it works

lokina didn't mention about which protect in the first post.

but anything with rdm subjob (for dia) can take out single decent/evens with no problem at these early levels.

dia is underrated by meleers in these early levels b/c they think having a mnk or warr subjob for extra ATK or DEF will be better. in fact, dia is pretty good too.

perhaps multiple mobs with protectII or higher is ok, but for sure, protect + dia on one mob at a time is no problem for a whm to melee to death. occasionally later, you may need to nuke with banish but that'll be the exception.

this is for < lvl 10 or so.
