I know how to check my fame, but all i get are words...how do u see what ur fame is in numbers??
check the quests you have done, i'm pretty sure thats what the numbers on this site go's by
As far as i know you can't, those words are your only indication.
There is a website that has what the titles mean and how much fame would rep., unfortunelty my brother knows the website and he hasn't told me what it is yet but as soon as I find out I'll let all of you know.

The original fame guide was from the japanese davidbowe site thing. Look at credits on the gamefaqs one.
If you examine the Allakazham one and the Gamefaqs one. The gamefaqs gives more detail on what each tavern person says. Specifically, windurst.
