Deleting Siren Char $60,000 Gil to tradeFollow

#1 Jan 20 2004 at 11:54 AM Rating: Good
About a month ago there was an emigration offered to the new server Asura. I transfered two characters but somehow screwed up and did not get a third character to complete the emigration. This character is "stuck" in Siren, while I have developed new characters in Asura. It is time to delete the character in Siren. I have sold off most of the expensive gear and now have over $60,000 gil and lots of minor gear.

I am looking for someone that has developed characters on both the Siren server and the Asura server. I would like to trade all the gil and gear (about $65,000 to $70,000 total value) from the character I'm deleting on Siren for $30,000 gil from someones character in Asura.

So you would get over $60,000 for $30,000, but the $30,000 must be given from Asura. I will check this message later tonight. You can message the Asura Server character Cindycin. I will be online this evening.

Also since there is a trust issue, there is only one way that I can see to do this that will be safe. I will trade in small amounts and I will trade backwards. On Asura you give me 125 gil, on Siren I give you 250, on Asura you give me 250 gil, Siren I give you 500,

Asura you give me 500
Siren I give you 1,000

Asura you give me 1,000
Siren I give you 2,000

Asura you give me 2,000
Siren I give you 4,000

4,000
8,000

8,000
16,000

At this point you will have trade $15,875 to me and I will have traded $31,750 to you. The last trade to me on Asura will be $14,125, and I give you the balance of at least $28,250 and all the gear on Siren

By trading this way you are only risking the initial $125, and please, im not trying to cheat anyone out of a measly $125. If your concerned about it we can start lower. The point is that whatever the first trade is from you to me is the only money you risk losing. This protects the both of us.

Hey, I can do that. I will be on tonight (Fri 23 2004) around 5pm Est time, probably till late in the night. If you haven't found anybody. My name is Avlynn, and I'm on the Siren sever. Also if you want to tell me by posting here, that would be great too. I do understand your system.

If you haven't realize what's he saying. He's not selling his armors or gils. Just trading it from one server to another. It doesn't matter what job/race/lvl he is. He just want to look for someone that have a character on each server and willing to loose 30k in the process just so his new character will get some gils to start with.

Yeah, I know what he means, I tranferred one of my guy's to Asura, and I like playing on Siren better, and I could use an extra 30k. Probably delete other guy if this goes thru.

Why was Tast voted down? This is just a simple gil trade between servers. No harm to anyone.

It might have been another game, but I believe this is actually against the EULA.. Don't quote me on this though. Just a heads up if it is.

Well, if you read the agreement they make it sound like using your gil for anything in game or out is illegal. But I doubt anyone would get a bug up their butt when this is just moving gil around on two different servers. No one is selling gil or anything else for real world dollars. Heck, call it charity. One toon on one server is being nice to another toon and vice versa. Is that against EULA? :P
