Holy Trio of any groupFollow

For the record I am a 30th level PAL/WAR, and I party exclusively with a 28th WHM/BLM. We form a solid core for any group, and tend to build our own.

A few nights back I went to Kazham for the first time, and before I go any further let me say this....get your pass as quickly as you can! But that is a topic for another thread.

While on the airship I began building a party around myself and my friend. We got a RDM, a DRK and a SAM very quickly. Just after arriving a BRD became available and I invited him. Like most of us I have heard how wonderful BRDs are, and I was curious to see what he could do.

The RDM enfeebled and nuked, the DRK SAM and I did renkei and the WHM had no problem keeping me healed (I helped, but only enough to hold agro). I never had to rest like I normally would between pulls which preserved my TP.

We literally had no down time. It got so intense that after an hour we took a break...just to take a break.

200xp base with xp chain 5 all night long. Mandragors to build up the chain and then finishing with a Smithy. The bard lived up to all the hype and more. He taught us to position the mages on one side and the tanks on the other with me lying squarely in the middle so that the tanks had one set of songs and the casters another.

Of course I added the BRD to my friends list and we have partied several more times. Each time its the WHM/PAL/BRD combo with three random people. Every time we all get insane xp and the people who join our groups simply cannot believe it.

I have read stories like this on the boards for a long time, but experiencing it was something entirely different. We have been playing on a whole different level, and consider 3000xp an hour to be low average.

The best part is that we are still improving. We still see things that we can do better. I can't imagine how disgusting we will be when we have everything down...

So there you have it. Get a PAL. Get a WHM. Get a BRD. Its a whole different game...
