Ok i like to think of myself as a MMORPG vet, ive played a couple different MMO's and maxed out some toons in the process.
My problem with MMORPG's that eventually they become a leveling grind and then once you maxed out its like "well what do i do now?".
So far FFXI doesnt seem like that at all. First off there are missions that actually have a story. Crafting that doesnt cost an arm and a leg and actually pays at low levels, and quests that actually are worth doing. Then if i ever max my toon out there is the fact that i can just switch jobs and start leveling another one up so i can still play with same char.
I am loving this game, i got tired of leveling so i went out and did both my Khazam airship pass and lvl 3 adventurer quest and actually had fun doing them ( prob cause Pal key dropped 1st kill and Gid key dropped on second) plus the Dragon fight was simply amazing and fun.
I dunno the more time i spend and play the game and the deeper i get into it the more fun it gets :)
