Hume Female RSE and Sexual HarassmentFollow

I am a female playing as a hume F WHM and I have encountered the occasional male players that must make a comment about the physique of my character. Now this doesn't really bother me. I think it is rather funny.

Recently, I acquired my RSE "pants" (which are of course red short shorts). Since aquiring these pants, lol, the amount of these comments I receive has increased by about 5 times, so much so that my linkshell buddies now laugh every time it happens.

Lol, I'm kind of scared to get the vest.... Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Yes. I get unnecassary comments about my underpants all the time. Why cant people be mature and accept the fact that I have a bladder control problem?

I have a Hume Female friend who just got her pants. We partied yesterday and no less than two people in the party immediately said "You look sexy ... you are HOT ... etc." It was pretty funny, but now even moreso after reading your post. Hume Females are in a state of emergency! Look out! If you see a male, he could be making comments at YOU.

w/o the harassment part, i look forward to wearing those pants (well my hume female whm does). i think they look cute.

the look of armor here in this game isn't too great, it's good when you find something you really like. in UO there were quite a few things a mage could wear..it was all up to how you wanted to look.

Thats the main reason why I dont play a Mithra. Nevermind a Hume F. Ive seen the way they are treated, and I would prob go off after a few harassing marks. You can always tell the kids though.

I would never poke fun at or harass a player i didnt know, its not right, course there is this one lady in my LS who was wearing subligars the other day and i couldnt help but poke fun at her for wearing "short shorts" and some other things.

But we knew each other and she was cool with it.

I play a Mithra, and only twice have I ever run into a similar comment by someone. So, it doesn't bother me - a simple "heh" is generally the only answer required.

Note that the players who make these comments weren't exactly the most skilled I've ever run into, which is what you would expect.

Unfortunatly i am guilty of this and have met the GM on two seperate occasion's. I think it is all in good fun. Take it with a grain of salt.

It is just a game..Or is it? Reality is blurred=)

Normally I play a male taru which I am very comfortable with and only get the occasional "check" from other players.

I've recently created a female hume as a secondary character and I actually feel uncomfortable sometimes because of the large amounts "checks" I get and people constantly "running" into my character. Quite different from my taru. Makes me understand females in real life better :)

HAHA What I think is really funny is when I am playing my Mithra and get catcalls nonstop(pun intended) from players till I tell them I am a dude... the funny part about /check is that I get checked Waaaaaay more now that I have pants on, cause they are cool looking pants. "Martial Slacks" http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?fitem=410 plus you don't see mithra in clothes as much.

Aside from giving the "/emote pets <t>" for the mithrans I refrain from making any sexual comments on FF11 due to what was just mentioned. The fact that you never know who's a dude and who's a real female. Plus it's really not very nice to harass people anyways.

Once they get a good closeup at some Female Elvaan booty they'll give you Mithra's and Humes a break... ;)

Ya your gonna get that when you fill any anonymous environment with 13 year old prepubscent boys. Give em a link to any ole misc **** site and tell em to come back in 45 seconds after they clean up their keyboard and are ready to act like normal human beings

Adjust the resolution of menus.
The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting.
If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.

I thought of it first:

FealixTheCat, how do you like the martial slacks? I was planning on getting them. Dont know if they would be worth the money though. 30k on ragnarok, outch. At lvl 31 i can get some better ones, the Magna F Chausses. Which im only 1 lvl away atm. Think ill do that.

So what are the sexiest hume female armor you can get???
RSE pants?? what else?

The top isn't very sexy, not like a mithra anyway.

I've seen plenty of dudes running around in some ChipandDale'esque armor and stuff. No dudes complaining about it. Maybe women need to be a little less defensive about their sexuality... Besides noone is making your character wear anything. lol, okay on the real though it's just a game. Any dude or chick that gets worked up over how a video game character looks needs to go out and get some.

Johari- I love my martial slacks.. put it this way, I won't need to upgrade for 7 levels as the next best is available at 31 and i got em at 24... Plus they look great! The extra to dodgeing based stats make my mithrian butt a hard target! Not to mention I think it's funny to be in battle with a pair of White pants. So Feline... HeHe. I did pick mine up at the Jueno AH for 24K. From what I have read a good party 20-25 could take the NM if you can find him. I am just an excellent farmer and had some cash laying around.

And to Lobivopis-
Yes I have worn slacks before but not since my Vagabond stuff. I always buy for stats not looks cause you are just gonna upgrade anyways. It's like a bad haircut, you only have to live with it a short while. Stats are all I look at after years after years in MMORPG's.

I get hit on all the time. Especially by taru. Damn pervy taru. I'm used to getting comments like "thank god my head is at just the right height" and other such garbage. Which is kind of annoying, especially since my character is female, though IRL I'm male. I've said something about this before, but part of me has to laugh every time a guy hits on my character.
