I am currently in Windurst, but I need to get to San D'oria. What is the easiest way to get there. Airship, chocabo, etc? I am a LVL. 9 Black mage so I cant make the run without getting owned. Please help!
At your level? Only 2 good choices.
switch to a level one job and run for it. You die, no biggy. Or get a high level escort.you have to be 20 to even do the Choco quest and you have to go through some really hard zones to get it.
Your best bet is to just look up a map, and go for it.

You have to make the run. No other way at that level.
run this route:
sarutabaruta -> tahrongi -> buburimu -> mhaura
-> ship to selbina
selbina -> valkurm -> la theine -> ronfaure -> san d'oria
almost every one of these areas will own your character, so you might as well change to a lvl 1 job, set HP's as you go, and hope for the best ;)

Yeah I would change your job to THF and make the run since at least you have a 30 dodge all attack 2hr if you get a a little trouble (I say litte cause once activited you only have 30s to zone get help etc.). The only other option (other than an escort throught the zones) is to hook up with a higher lvl Blm that was Warp 2.
With Warp 2 you can port the whole party to his home point. If he set hp in San D, you could join his party then he warp you to San D that way. Kinda a long shot since if your asking here you probably don't know any high lvl charactor or they would have helped already.

You can easily get through all of those zones without aggro or dieing. Think of it as Puller training.
You just have to walk VERY carefully.
