I've recently heard that they lowered the quest level to 15, Is this true? I never pay attention to updates heh, please confirm this
If your Main job has leveled to 20 and completed the Chocobo quest, any further subs can rent one at 15. Thats my understanding of it
Yes, you have to have one job at lvl 20 and do the chocobo quest then when you lvl another sub job to 15 you can rent a chocobo, but it won't stay with you as long as it would if you were 20+.
Simply put, if you are a new player who never rode chocobo or done the chocobo quest, you need to be LVL 20 to get the quest to spawn.
But later on say you are lvling another job, you can rent chocobo at lvl 15. But the distance you can travel with the chocobo might be really short. I don't think you can get from bastok to Jeuno.

Yes You still have to be level 20 to do the normal chocobo quest where u feed it for 6 days. After that you can rent a chocobo in *CITIES ONLY* at lv 15+. Crags still require u to be lv 20 to rent them.
I haven't actually tested it, but taking the update info from Squenix literally, I believe it's just the three main cities where you can rent a Chocobo between level 15-19. Provided you've already gotten your license, that is. You can't get one at crags, nor in Jeuno, at 15.
