Controller not Vibrating??Follow

#1 Jan 17 2004 at 10:26 AM Rating: Decent
Ok, I've tried 2 controllers so far and one of them is the actual Playstation Dual Shock. I go to the FFXI config and I enable the force feedback feature and when I test it it doesn't rumble. The other controller I used was a USB controller w/ force feedback and nothing. I have the right drivers installed for the controllers otherwise they would'nt work at all. Has anyone got the force feedback feature to work?

I don't think this feature is actually active yet. Might need to wait for an update.

I have a Saitek P2500 Rumble pad, With the drivers installed and my Rumble works in game, and on the test screen. Try to reinstall the drivers for your game pad and try again. Also I just thought of something else if you have the game pads plugged into a USB port powered Hub, then the game pad may not have enough power to rumble. Try plugging it directly into a USB port on your computer. My Saitek did this to me when I fist got it, I got a powered USB hub and that fixed the problem.

PS This is my first post, to these forums. Hope It helps.

You're using a PS2->PC adaptor right?? Does it actually support vibration function? Some of the adaptors don't

Adjust the resolution of menus.
The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting.
If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.

I thought of it first:

make sure your using the driver that came on the disk with your adaptor. the one built into windows works, but does not support vibration.
