I've just noticed a difference between the PS2 and PC versions of FFXI, in all the screenshots I've seen of the PS2 version every character and mob has a stencil buffer shadow. In the PC version only your character has a stencil shadow while everything else has a simple "shadow disk" under it.

Check out the screenshots here to see what I'm talking about.

Adjust the resolution of menus.
The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting.
If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.

I thought of it first:

I want them because there is no excuse for the PS2 to have them and the PC version not to dammit.

I have personally disowend pc games because they are more trouble than even my car...

I am semi err em, 'financially challanged' but have enough priorities to have a PS2 and a non-game-worthy pc.

But waiting for ps2 version to come out in America stinks :(

Anyways, this might a bit more on topic: PS2 grafix are way better than pc grafix that I can afford. I have always turned shadows and particle effects ect all the way down... although that might not be so important since there are no 'sieges' in this game... till pvp... maby... who knows
